The LEEF Hotel

You check in at a kiosk. A person comes on and tells you what to do. Room was cute but small. Very motel like. Loved that they have plugs on both sides of the bed. The bad part was the floor was filthy. Hairs, dead bug (not sure what kind), dirt. I made the mistake of walking barefoot. Can't really complain to anyone because there is no front desk. Also the room had an odd smell. Not really bad, just odd. And both windows were open when we came in. If i didn't see the shutter/door on window move I wouldn't have known they were open and I wouldn't have felt safe.

I've stayed at this hotel last year and had a very polite male receptionist through the digital lobby check in. Wonderful experience and no issues with service, room or stay overall. This time I checked in with a different receptionist, female agent and very passive aggressive. Fake smiling the entire time and rushing me with the check in and responded "you are all done" when I mentioned to correct an error in my address. Then when I returned to the same agent to address an issue with the pass code not working and locking me out of my room, she seemed irritated and printed a hotel key card to use. I suggested key cards for ease of entry and she did the passive aggressive eye roll and fake smile again. It was nauseating. Stop that, you are not a child. You are being paid for providing service so act like an adult and provide professional service. Kindness and professionalism aren't hard to to do. All in all, despite the cute hotel room, I will reconsider this place because service was terrible. I hope they really clean up their act and hire mature adult agents for future hotel guests going forward.

We needed a place close to hospital for surgery. We booked and paid thru Expedia. The rooms are ok...EXCEPT the room they gave us had lights in the very small bedroom and equally tiny bathroom that flickered (strobed) and I have seizures from this. There is no front desk (just someone at a virtual kiosk working from home). They told me to contact Expedia, which we did and Expedia contacted the hotel and they refused to cancel our reservation. They don't allow you to check the rooms ahead of time either. My husband is going to buy a lamp to plug in for the night and keep their light off. This is not a place to stay and their customer service is non existent. I would give them ZERO stars if I could

Easy to book and check in. The room was small and cozy.. also it has the best Italian restaurant just across the street as well

Beautiful rooms. Decent size, but bathrooms are a bit small but not too bad. FYI, beds are a bit high. Wish parking lot had assigned parking so they can be closer to the rooms. Not a deal breaker since it’s a pretty small parking lot. First time checking in at a hotel virtually and it was pretty cool. Would definitely stay here again. I only stayed for 1 night and it was midweek.

The Leef was a great stay. I grew up in this area, and this used to be one of the ghettoist hotels in the area; it was a druggy hotel in super rundown condition, so when searching for somewhere to stay while visiting I was pleasantly surprised to see this location refreshed into something new. It looks like officially taking reservations for fully operational property as of Feb. 2026. So needless to say everything was new, updated and well maintained. The property has 16 guest rooms and a private parking lot, the lobby is very small and they use a kiosk for check in, this is a popular option for hotels who don't have 24/7 front desk - however this is the first hotel I have seen kiosk only. The process was very simple; there is a GSA on the kiosk and they walk you through everything, and you sign on the screen. Parking costs $10/night. There is a small outdoor seating area with small fountains that were really nice to just sit and enjoy the nice evening weather. We had a room near the front, there was parking right near our room. Each room is equipped with a keypad locking system, which is active at check in until check out. When checking out you just notify the kiosk that you are checking out of your room and they will deactivate your room lock and send your folio via email. They have onsite housekeeping; they service the rooms every 2 days unless you ask, we were able to exchange towels while they were servicing other rooms and that is all we needed. The rooms are beautiful, but small. I felt very cozy in the room. When I first walked in I thought it was odd that the TV faced the other wall and only had one chair near it, but then realized that the TV is on a swivel mount so that it is out of the way but can be folded out so it is at the foot of the bed. The shower was a stall shower with plenty of room, but the bathroom is also small, the sink is a micro skin and no counter top space. There is a good size closet space with ledge that can hold your suitcases and any clothes that need to be hung. The location is in great proximity to the free way entrance, restaurants, bus stops, the high school and local park. We enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

The stay was as expected, nothing bad or great to mention. Pros: - The rooms was super clean (amazing job). They even folded the towels in fancy shape! - The room is in great state and nicely design. - The outdoor space is comfy. - The area is safe and check-in is easy (online kiosk). Cons: - Parking is too expensive (10$ per night) for the area. It should be 5$ or less (parking is free on the adjacent streets) - The water fountain keeps running all night and makes a bit of noise (maybe switching it off overnight would help). - The room was missing a desk or an extra chair (only had one chair for a double room)

I would give it five stars if I were traveling solo. The room was impeccably clean, and it’s a great value for what you get. The rooms are perfect for one person but a bit small for two. Our bed made noise whenever someone shifted sides. If you’re traveling with someone else, there’s only one chair available to sit on. I liked the wooden blinds because they kept most of the light out. I also enjoyed the small seating area in the parking lot.

Very good but just don’t like that outside noise is so easy to hear

The maids tried to walk in my room an hour before checkout, then she came back at 11, when the host extended me until 1130. The bed is hard, I will never be back!
