My first time staying at a Red Roof Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were well kept. But the best asset of this hotel is the staff. Everyone was helpful, accommodating, and pleasant. When I got home 2 days later I realized I left my laptop power supply in the room. I called the hotel and they quickly located it. I offered to send a UPS label so they could return it to me. Robert the manager was happy to help and it was on the way the next day. I will definitely stay here again the next time I go to Tree House Brewing and the Yankee Candle Village.
No pool as advertised on Travelocity and Google. Room smelled like sewage. I spoke to an employee and was told that sometimes happens. Refrigerator leaked onto the floor. Bathroom flooring was bubbling up and squishy. Great location. Friendly staff. Very expensive considering no pool and no breakfast.
We were in the area for a lacrosse tournament, this was one of the only place with rooms available. There’s a reason why. It was nasty, our room was on the 1st floor and when you first walk in the door, garbage barrels by the entrance to the lobby and back doorway was unpleasant, not clean or welcoming. The stench was beyond moldy and gross in the hall. You have to hold your breath to go in and out and the bathroom needed some serious cleaning, sterilizing- the bed was sloped and you sink feeling the springs when you sit on the edge. We only put our dirty laundry in a garbage bag on the chair because that had visible dirt on it and the desk chair was so worn that I don’t think someone will take it if you put it out on the sidewalk for free .We just felt gross and dirty the entire time, not OK. World cup happening and the TV didn’t work and the Wi-Fi only worked on our phones because we have data. I will spend more and plan better to get into a Marriot or something better. This is a 1-2 star hotel that needs updates, overhaul, renovations and serious management review of what hospitality should be regardless of location or price. It could be way better! The reviews of this place and pictures are seriously way OFF.
Location good . Not the cleanest Window does not lock. Shower has hot water but trickles out. Can't fix. beds lean downward on the corners , uneven. Room door gets stuck easy. Toilet clogs way too easily and had to have them bring plunger and leave it with us due to no maintenance crew on a weekend? For a hotel? Hmm just do better is all we ask and spoke to other tenants and they said the same thing . So sad .
Super friendly staff, nice lounge/vending area, pet friendly. Rooms were lackluster and had a mildew aroma. Luckily, Yankee Candle Village is next door. And Cheech & Chongs is across the street. Good for an overnight.
Very clean comfortable room at a reasonable price.
