Red Roof PLUS+ South Deerfield – Amherst

My daughter and I booked a room for 2 nights for a graduation at a nearby school. This inn is filthy, you notice the unkempt carpets in the hallways which don’t seem to have seen a vacuum cleaner in ages, the musky and stale odor in the room hits you as soon as you open the door. Needless to say, we stayed for only one night instead of the two as had been planned. My daughter slept outside in the car because she couldn’t take the noxious smells. The whole room is simply old and tired looking, the bathtub had a stain on the inside, .. the whole place needs a makeover Thankfully we found another hotel with fresh smelling rooms but this place almost ruined our weekend!

The staff at Red Roof Inn at South Deerfield are wonderful. They addressed and resolved any concerns promptly and politely, the cleaning staff did an excellent job, and maintenance went above and beyond, including shoveling out my car during a snowstorm (thanks again!) Highly recommend.

Thank you Jaime for being attentive and truly a gem of a human. **** Update staff turn over again changed management also Kendra new manager is not trying to retain 20 + yr customer's thats a shame never been treated like my business doesn't matter until today wow eye opener where I come from loyalty counts apparently until today. Not the way to do business.

There is pictures of a pool associated with this location but there is no pool. The service was awesome, I smelled weed throughout the entire hotel which was not pleasant

I have an extended stay here and I have nothing but great things to say. My room is extremely comfortable and always clean. I have to mention Deb's name as an AMAZING PERSON!!! She is always pleasant and smiling; which makes a difference. Not only is Deb a sweetheart she is accommodating, professional and friendly.

We read several bad reviews. Not sure why!! The host checking us in was extremely helpful. They worked with our needs. Made room for us to park our large motorhome, gave us the first floor due to a knee replacement surgery, helped us feel right at home after and extremely long long day of travel. Room was nice and clean. Appears to have recent updates made. May need to consider new mattress soon. It is an easy off I-91 which we needed. Our room was on highway side of building but road noise didn't bother us.

I honestly haven't been this happy staying in a hotel. The staff is personable, rooms are clean, and the grounds are safe for my dog. It's a great area, close to shopping and walking.

Filthy. The room looks clean from a far but once you inspect any surface or bedding, you will see marks of who knows what. The towels ALL have imbedded pubic hair in them. Mold in the bathroom Pretty gross honestly.

The woman who checked me in was super chill. They've got a worthy lounge area too, lots of games, pool table, air hockey, and the massage chairs are a nice touch. 2$ for 6min helped me unwind way more than I'd have guessed 😅
