My Loup

Phenomenal meal, dishes were perfect and everything was delicious. A thing to note is the "Let us cook" option, it's $125 per person and they basically pick exactly $125 worth of items on the menu for you. There's nothing that's off menu, so next time I'd prefer to just order a la carte.

What an evening at My Loup. We let them cook, and they did not disappoint. We were blown away by the service & the tasting menu. Most options weren’t what we would pick, but that’s the point, we were consistently pleasantly surprised. Whether it was the duck, the escargot, or the ratatoullie, each bite was a delight. Dessert was a dream. Our server Krystin had a brilliant read on us, somehow she knew what we wanted before we did. Compared to experiences at Jean Georges, My Loup blew us away with a masterful take on French cuisine.

I had the most amazing dinner here! Best French 75 I’ve ever had. The pickled shrimp hype is real and the aioli was incredible. Pork chop and raspberry sundae also very delicious. 10/10.

Our party of 4 enjoyed the tasting menu. The staff accommodated our requests with a smile. The sharing portions were delicious and generous. If I lived in Philly I’d be here all the time. We live in NYC and this is my daughter’s favorite restaurant. So she asked we go for her birthday. The quality and value are unmatched!

The food was great and pretty tasty but would STRONGLY advise against getting the tasting menu!!!! It was not balanced (all seafood) and heavily veggie forward. To add insult to injury there was only one main for two people. You’re better off getting à la carte dishes. I feel ripped off actually and tainted the overall experience.

A friend suggested trying out My Loup, and after several years, finally made it there this past weekend. Dinner reservations were fully booked several weeks out, so the only thing available was right when they opened at 5pm. Very glad we were able to get in! The food was soo good, nothing was under or over cooked, perfect temperature, great flavor, seasoned well. The drinks were great too. Overall, no complaints. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave great recommendations. It was my birthday and they gave me a signed card from the staff and a small birthday treat as well. I’m adding this on my places to revisit!

I highly recommend eating at this establishment as much as you can. The food is created with care and perfection. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised when I was expecting a price range much higher than actual prices on their menu. The food arrived at our table very quick, and each dish was fantastic. I recommend "let us cook" if you want to try multiple items. You don't really get choices however you do get a 4 course meal. Raw, small plate, protein, and dessert to finish. I also highly recommend the oysters(raw), escaroll, and the pickled shrimp. The only downside was my lower extremedies fell asleep on the wooden chair. I will be going back as often as I can.

Fantastic! Had the heirloom tomato dish and the chicken. Was worried I was playing it a little safe but everything was wonderful and very creative. Can't wait to come back the next time I'm on Philadelphia.

Ryan and Dan were amazing and made our experience a 10/10 from start to finish. We needed to push our reservation by 30 mins and Ryan did over the phone very graciously. Once we arrived Dan was great with drink and food recs. Our seafood tower was so tasty and had such a variety. Drinks were unique and top notch. Highly recommend.

I visited My Loup about a year ago after hearing so many great things about it, and I went with two friends. The food was definitely good and the atmosphere was beautiful. I especially loved the design of the menu. Although I no longer remember every dish clearly, I remember enjoying the meal, and I can understand why the restaurant has received so much recognition. Unfortunately, the service left a much stronger impression on me than the food. The three of us were Asian women, and throughout the evening, we repeatedly tried to get someone’s attention because we wanted to order additional dishes, dessert, and more drinks. We waved and waited, but no one came over or acknowledged us. At one point, I went to the restroom near the kitchen area. Several staff members came through carrying dishes, and no one acknowledged me, made space, or helped point me toward the restroom. I understand that staff members can be busy, and I do not expect anyone to stop everything for me, but the overall experience made me feel completely invisible. I waited almost a year before writing this because I wanted to be fair, and because so many people around me continue to recommend My Loup. The food and setting were genuinely enjoyable, but the way we were treated made the experience deeply disappointing. I hope the restaurant takes feedback like this seriously and works to make every guest feel equally welcomed and cared for.

This review is about a year late but here goes nothing! Went here on a whim during the holiday season about a year ago. They had just opened after Her Place had achieved much success. I went on a night that they had a themed dinner if I remember correctly. It was a "Steakhouse My Way" theme. I just remember there being a singular and cheeky point of view. The steak was served with Challah bread. The oysters with a hollandaise sauce instead of the traditional accruements. The food itself was rather traditional, but the pairings of the dishes and the flavor profiles really made it sing. It's a testament that the best food is food cooked with passion and a point of view. I remember the service being great as well. The bartender was super friendly, noticed I was dining solo and made me feel cared for the entire night. On my way out one of the servers asked me if I liked everything, if I had traveled far and to get home safe and have a great evening. I highly recommend My Loup if you have a chance to go!
