Fabulosa Books

This is a fantastic independent bookstore that is a "Must Stop" for me anytime I am in the Castro District. I love the huge selection of LGBTQ+ books for children, young adults, and adults. It's hugely welcoming and the books are often ones you can't find in more mainstream bookstores like Barnes and Noble. There are other genres of books available as well as stickers, magazines, and merchandise. The staff is always friendly, the store is neat and well organized, and the store just feels special. Such a wonderful place!

Less Amazon, more local shop! Happy! Today I’m picking up the book "e" I ordered previously, I like this place: the vibe, the selection, the customer service, and the location are all the best. A truly Castro's jewel.

One of my favorite book stores in SF. Marcus and his staff are top notch and the used book selection is amazing. Super friendly and always welcoming. It's a vital part of the Castro, along with their neighbors on the block.
