Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF)

The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF) is the largest LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS nonprofit in southern Arizona and a genuine anchor of queer Tucson. From its base near downtown on South Euclid Avenue, SAAF provides HIV prevention and care, PrEP and PEP access, testing, mental-health counseling, housing support and a broad slate of LGBTQ+ community programming. When Tucson's historic Wingspan LGBTQ center closed in 2014, SAAF absorbed key services including the anti-violence program and youth outreach, and it now runs the Eon Youth Lounge for LGBTQ+ young people. For visitors and new residents alike, SAAF is the best single point of contact for community resources, events and support in the Old Pueblo.
