Disappointing experience – lack of management and poor quality While the staff try to come across as friendly, the overall atmosphere is ruined by a complete lack of leadership and professionalism. Instead of a relaxing environment, we had to deal with loud shouting and disruptive noise—such as staff spending 30 minutes handling ice and rattling boxes—making it far from comfortable. The food was thoroughly mediocre and a complete waste of money: The Cordon Bleu felt like something straight out of the 1990s, featuring an overly thick crust, zero melted cheese, and just salty ham inside. The Pancit Canton was equally disappointing; we were left searching for any sign of chicken in it. If you want a pleasant drink or a proper night out, you are much better off heading to a regular bar where it’s actually comfortable. Sadly, this place suffers from absent management and zero leadership. Save your money and skip this place.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfasts and very relaxing to enjoy sitting by one of the two pools. Rhoda the first aider provided me with tender but professional care patching up my hand. Many thanks for a wonderful visit.

My favorite place to stay in Angeles City friendly staff and a excellent restaurant.Been coming here since 2016 and will stay here on my next visit.

The old resort has a bigger swimming pool. Direct booking is suggested. Security team can protect the guests. Reception team will confirm the leaving of visitors. The air conditioner may be old but workable. A roof fan is equipped. It is suggested to bring own tooth brush and shower gels. Lagoon Balcony has a great view. Trade wind restaurant can provide various cuisines. The location can access to walking streets easily.

I have been visiting Angeles City for the last couple years, staying at a hotel I had first chosen, but over time sadly things have changed. Hence my first visit to Wild Orchid. Overall, very happy and surprised with Wild Orchid during my 3-night stay, to the point of extending one night. The room shown in the photos below Balcony Suite- currently 3300 php cash per night. I loved the room. Furnished nicely, spacious, good internet and TV. Very comfortable bed. Staff? All friendly, very helpful and always there for whatever you need. The buildings are a little older and worn, but isn’t-wasn’t an issue for me. The areas important to me are all in great shape. The property has two spacious pools and great atmosphere. My unit had a very nice and usable balcony. They have a restaurant, resto bar and a sports bar within. Food was reasonably priced and everything I tried was to my liking. However, I didn’t have more than a couple entrees. They have a pretty basic breakfast menu with coffee included with some, but if you get a refill you are charged for it. If you have a say grab delivery, as for it to be delivered to the front desk. They will call you and ask if you would like it brought to the room. The bathroom-CR is very nice with one exception in my opinion, they only have one shower head-ceiling mounted which means if you wish to use it you have to basically take a whole shower vs being able to use it for a specific area. (The current price for a deluxe king room is 2600 php cash) I hope they keep these prices! I will be returning future.

My wife, daughter and I Love the Wild Orchid Resort. The rooms, pool and restaurant are outstanding. What's best about the Wild Orchid Resort are the people. Front Desk, bartenders, housekeepers and maintainance. Genuine smiles everywhere. A bargain for the price and near a lot of good restaurants within walking distance.I highly recommend you check out this establishment.

Service dropped sharply after the entire staff was replaced. First of all, nobody even greets you. I had to wait over 30 minutes from the time I ordered it, and the food was incredibly salty. The accounts are incredibly slow. What caught my attention the most was the attitude of the clerk. There was no smile, just a grumpy, grumpy expression. The women at the restaurant counter in particular were very uncomfortable and felt unwelcome.

Great location away from the noise. Rooms where being renovated but was upgraded. Service was fantastic, thanks Kimmy. Great pool, bar and sports bar, could watch the horse racing and footy games. Only issue for us was the food, very good menu but quality was lacking.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Wild Orchid Hotel in Angeles City and would happily recommend it. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value and a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The food was great, with plenty of tasty options available, and the restaurant was a pleasant place to dine. The pool area was clean, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing during the day. The gym was also a big plus — well kept and convenient for staying active while traveling. A nice improvement was the TV service. The hotel has upgraded from local Converge channels to IPTV, which offers a much better selection of channels and greatly improved the in-room entertainment experience. Everything was well run and the staff helped make the stay smooth and enjoyable. The only downside was the WiFi, which was quite slow at times and could be improved. Aside from the WiFi issue, everything else exceeded expectations. With great food, solid facilities, an improved TV system, and a relaxing environment, the Wild Orchid Hotel easily earns a strong four-star rating and we would stay here again.

The hotel ha great location, Excellent service and very friendly staff. We return regularly when we visit the area. We will return again shortly.
