Ask Lily is a small guesthouse at Heide 71 in Hulshout, a village in the Antwerp Kempen region. Note that the address is in Hulshout, a short drive from Grobbendonk where it is filed. It is a gay-friendly mainstream B&B with a strong Google rating (4.8 from about 100 reviews). This is a quiet rural base for cycling and walking in the Kempen, not a stay for nightlife. Neither village has any gay venues; Antwerp's bars and clubs are roughly 40 minutes away by car, and public transport out here is limited, so plan on driving.

We stayed here for two nights as a couple. Super hospitable owners. The room was clean, spacious enough, and tastefully decorated! We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, and as the icing on the cake, I even enjoyed a tour of the stables behind the house, along with some fun stories and facts. You can also rely on the hosts for tips on the surrounding area. Furthermore, there's an eye for personal preferences and detail. And during your stay, you can enjoy the cozy lounge and terrace. Play a game, read a book, or play a record. In short, a wonderfully diverse and cozy atmosphere. Thanks Lilly and Bobbie for this wonderful stay; we'll spread the word =)
