Aalborg has no gay bar and no gay club. We checked Danish and English sources in October 2026 and couldn't verify a single dedicated LGBTQ+ bar in the city. Jomfru Ane Gade, the bar street that bills itself as the longest unbroken run of bars in Denmark, is mainstream and student-heavy; you'll be fine there, but none of its bars is queer.
Where queer Aalborg actually meets
Buens Bogcafé on Maren Turis Gade is a bookshop and café that calls itself Denmark's only LGBT+ specialist bookshop, open since 2021. Aalborg Pride holds a parade and festival in Karolinelund each July, with an official afterparty; see Aalborg Pride for dates.
Gone but still Googled
Older listings named a "Zippers Bar" and a gay men's club called Club Stygge on Vesterå. We found no independent trace that either existed in Aalborg. For a gay bar night, GBAR in Aarhus is about 80 minutes away by train. See the full Aalborg guide.
