This late afternoon, I went swimming with my child and dog in the dog beach area. The hidden stones in the lake are quite nasty. Unfortunately, we all cut our feet, which is why I will only go into the swimming lake with water shoes from now on.

A very nice lake, but too many ducks. You can paddle and swim well stand-up. But I caught cercaria this year, which is very annoying, because the itching is hell. It has been a few days now and I hope the itching finally subsides again.

Well, according to Google research, we wanted to go spontaneously to the bathing lake, so did we. Which was positive for us, which according to the homepage of the nudist was separate from the normal bathing beach and also the snack offer suited. Now we got there, day ticket for parking with 6 € still in the frame, snack price also manageable but then the beach itself. Naked everywhere, the whole lake was covered with it, no hint of separation. I think something like that is impeccable, not a spot, but the separate nudist beach in the beginning. But well, there's only one star for that and we went straight on, paid 6 euros for the naked ass. Too bad, because I myself used to find Pratzschwitz very unappealing

Ample parking available. The snack bar and toilets unfortunately closed. Part further away if you're at the back. As a dog owner, the lying area with a meadow is advantageous but the access to the water is narrow so that the dogs get into the mix first. Water is good, but surface deficient. Many hidden large boulders where you get hurt very quickly when tripping over.

We spontaneously went swimming in the late afternoon and found a parking space. I think the parking fee is reasonable, there are enough parking spaces and there is no entrance fee. We didn't see any geese anywhere and no goose droppings etc. There were enough places to lie down, sun protection is an advantage, flat places are more in the sun, you should come early for a shady spot. A refreshing experience. Unfortunately, there aren't that many beautiful bathing lakes in the Dresden area, only Malter is better ;) the dam there is simply more idyllically situated.

There were five of us at the lake "quickly" before dinner. Arriving by bike is always no problem - no need to look for a parking space, and with the trailer to transport luggage to the water - it couldn't be more relaxing for families. And nobody takes offense at bare skin; in the nudist area, as in other places on the lake, everyone moves according to their own body feeling. The water is impeccable regardless of the number of guests. Only on the beach can you tell from the bird droppings that it is a natural lake. The restaurants close quite early; however, you can bring your own food and drinks, which is not at all welcome elsewhere.
