It's one of the city's longest-running small gig rooms, with touring and local bands plus late club nights. It isn't a gay bar. It's a mainstream, gay-friendly music venue that has hosted queer club nights. The crowd skews young and student-heavy, especially on weekends. It's a legendary venue for a reason. Been lucky enough to see so many amazing bands play this place over the years, including, Napalm Death, The Wildhearts, Orange Goblin, Airborne, Black Stone Cherry, Grand Magus, The Almighty, Towers of London etc etc, and the venue did them all justice.

Great venue. Not an indie night at all. Few indie tracks, but more other stuff, disco/ 80s. Really disappointed. Website said 50 tickets left, but only around 50 people in there... If that! Big let down 😔
