St Martins Lodge

Exceptionally lovely hotel, lots of history to the building and wonderful friendly and helpful people who work there. I can’t recommend it enough and would 100% book if I’m in Leicester again.

Fantastic place to stay, the location is perfect, right opposite the Cathedral and next to the Richard III Museum, the room was super comfortable, and the reception staff super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the stay and would happily come back.

I had a wonderful stay at St Martin Lodge in Leicester. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with a stylish and a traditional but modern feel, and they were also very spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the city centre, making it easy to explore Leicester’s shops, restaurants, and attractions. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful room in the heart of the city. Despite its proximity to the city centre, it was incredibly quiet. I rarely review based on first time experience but I’ve stayed here 3 times now and each time, it’s been brilliant! My only gripe would be that the rooms are hot! It’s an old building so I get that air con might not be possible. Even so, this is my go to whenever in Leicester! Rooms are gorgeous!

Comfortable one night stay ground floor room on street level but compensated by view of cathedral.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with air conditioning providing excellent temperature control. The Cathedral was conveniently located on the doorstep, and a wide variety of restaurants offering diverse cuisines were just a short walk away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Also, free parking.

This place was not only spotlessly clean it smelt lovely! It was warm and had everything needed, would highly recommend and will definitely be back! Location was also perfect with only a short walk into town centre.

This is the second time I had stayed at the hotel with my partner and we love it and would return without a doubt. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are luxurious and spotlessly clean, facilities are great too (great shower pressure and temperature, comfy bed, coffee machine etc) and the price is really good for central Leicester with free car parking! I would recommend booking!
