Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires

Beautiful place, we went for breakfast and were able to enjoy the place, its architecture and service.

I went for a spa day with my partner and we wanted to have breakfast there. We were thrown out like dogs in the most vulgar and unprofessional way I've ever seen. If breakfast is truly reserved for guests, I understand, but treating any human being that way seems utterly despicable. I don't know where they find their employees, but proper training and better customer service management are urgently needed, not to mention a complete overhaul of the staff. If I had ever considered leaving this place, I've completely lost that interest after this bitter experience. In hostels in Thailand, and even just going to buy fruit at a greengrocer's, I received better service than I did at this supposedly luxurious establishment with its unfounded pretensions of grandeur and status. Whether it was once a place with good service that declined over time, or if it was always like that, I'll never know. And if this is an act of discrimination because my partner is Black, it's simply the most blatant and indecent act I've ever experienced. Simply unacceptable.

I'm not giving it zero stars because that's impossible! In a place like that, it's unbelievable that they have such terrible service in the breakfast room, bordering on aggression. They have a real knack for ruining a stay due to a lack of training, not to mention any empathy, friendliness, or even a desire to cross-dress or even offer a ceiling... the breakfast hostesses' treatment was pathetic!

Absolutely amazing hotel in every way! Wonderful location in recoleta to walk to many places including the cemetery and great art museums. Quick taxi/uber to other neighborhoods as well. The building and interior are beautiful and the art throughout is unique. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. The staff is all very kind and attentive. We enjoyed the bar as well where you can get drinks, snacks, and even cigars. We did not eat lunch or dinner but had breakfast which had a lovely buffet and an option to upgrade to include made to order dishes. The spa is lovely as well and available for all guests use of the pool and locker rooms with sauna and hot tub. Overall, we loved our stay and pass along our many thanks to all the staff!
