Dazzler by Wyndham La Plata

A very nice experience! I want to highlight Maxi's attention and helpfulness!

A lot of issues that they're trying to fix with the best of intentions... Victor was an excellent waiter, but Carolina, the receptionist, was incredibly rude. There was an hour and a half delay for dinner, which was compensated with a discount and dessert. But with those prices, you give me paper napkins? I made a reservation four days in advance, and you seat me on the terrace with park benches and a water heater on my head? We spent a significant amount on what we'd spend on dinner these days... and you prioritize people who are just there to take pictures? In short, they lose sight of good service and customer appreciation. And well... the food was cold, the seafood there is only called mussels, and the cold mashed potatoes are just "creamy potatoes" that leave much to be desired. I spoke with the manager, and I hope they improve on just having a nice atmosphere.

Couple's vacation. Very nice hotel. Prime location, across from the cathedral and Plaza Moreno. We booked by phone, and Alejandro provided excellent service. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Federico, a true expert. Parking is at the hotel, accessible via a car lift and a garage that's easy to maneuver. From the garage to the rooms, you have to transfer to two elevators on the ground floor. The key card for room access also works for the elevator, as it's shared with a restaurant and café on the 12th floor. The room was very spacious, similar to other hotel chains. For a little extra, we chose a front-facing room. It had a spectacular window and a balcony with a magnificent panoramic view of the city and its main square. Impeccable cleanliness. Comfortable bathroom with good water temperature and pressure in the shower. Minibar and hot water kettle. 2 mugs, 2 tea bags, 2 yerba mate bags, and a complimentary coffee capsule. Comfortable bed with two types of pillows. Breakfast is served on the 12th floor, and this is where I significantly lower the rating. It has a spectacular view, but if you sit there, the breakfast items are at the back and very far away. Despite the size of the place and the number of bars, they put the food on an outside table, and the thermoses of coffee or milk are right in the hallway where the dishes are, and you can't get through. It looks like those corrals where cows are taken to the slaughterhouse. The breakfast was very complete and had good pastries. Some fruits ran out, and I saw people asking for them and being told there were no more. There was only one girl until 8:45 am when another young man arrived to help her. She barely replenished the food, and the tables were dirty and nothing had been cleared, so you had to sit somewhere else. Perhaps it could be solved by assigning one of the maids to clean or help. What we found unpleasant was that they started repairing or greasing an enclosure that concealed a small bar, and the young man who clears the tables and helps with breakfast climbed onto the bar while the maintenance man was below. We found it unhygienic, and they could have done it after the breakfast guests had left.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The top floor has a beautiful view of the La Plata Cathedral, Plaza Moreno, and the La Plata City Hall. The room was very comfortable, and breakfast was included.

Excellent service, and the beds and shower were fantastic. Great location across from the cathedral and main square. At night, there's a beautiful, unobstructed view of the sunset. There are shops nearby, including a café in the hotel, and a shopping center. The breakfast was also very good.
