A standard-issue chain hotel on Pembina Highway near the University of Manitoba campus, tagged online as gay-friendly purely because of corporate brand boilerplate. Don't expect an LGBTQ+ venue. It isn't one. The "welcoming policies" you'll find listed are straight off the central office template. Still, it does the job if you have business at the university, appointments on the south side of town, or a car you want to park without a headache. Downtown, The Forks, and the handful of gay bars clustered in the Exchange District area sit roughly 15 to 20 minutes north by car or bus.
