Mexico City's cruising happens mostly indoors, in legal, men-only clubs with cabins, darkrooms and bars, and in a few old porn cinemas in the Centro. Same-sex relationships are legal across Mexico, but sex in public is not. Chilango has reported theft and extortion around outdoor spots such as the Camino Verde in Ciudad Universitaria, so the clubs below are the safer choice. All of them were verified by gaymexicomap.com in 2025-26.
Cruising clubs
Sexto Piso, on the sixth floor of Eje Central 123 near Metro Salto del Agua, has a maze, glory holes, a darkroom and a room fitted out like a Metro carriage (about 150 pesos). On the same avenue, Funny Love at Eje Central 76 has more than 70 cabins and a darkroom, open in the daytime for about 100 pesos with a drink; its Zona Rosa branch is at Londres 112. Dallas, on the second floor of Génova 34 in Zona Rosa, was opened by the Sexto Piso team and has darkrooms, cabins, a sling and a porn room. La Casita at Insurgentes Sur 228 in Roma Norte opens daily from 3pm into the early morning (about 140 pesos), and Club Antifaz is near Metro Chabacano. The Antifaz branches on Eje Central and Amberes have closed.
Porn cinemas
Three old adult cinemas in the Centro still draw a male cruising crowd: Cine Savoy on 16 de Septiembre (about 60 pesos), Cinema Río on República de Cuba, where Sala 1 is men only, and Cine Venus on República de Chile.
Bars with darkrooms
TOM'S Leather Bar on Insurgentes Sur, Blow Bar on Niza and the Saturday [sic] club have darkrooms. Several saunas, above all Sodome, also work as cruising venues.
Outdoor areas
The Alameda Central and the Camino Verde at UNAM have long gay histories, and older guides mention La Ciudadela. We list them for context only. Public sex is illegal, and robbery and extortion have been reported.
Tips
Over 18s only, ID required. Bring condoms, leave your passport and cards at the hotel, use the lockers, and take an app taxi home: Eje Central is quiet late at night.
