Great local bar with impeccable vibes. Wednesday karaoke starts at 8pm and is fun as hell
This is not a gay bar. There is not gay people here at all, it’s not anything like a gay bar. Don’t let this place gay bait you into coming. Read the reviews. Everyone is happy it’s not changed. It’s also pretty weird that ginger is asking everyone to review her? Not sure what’s that’s about.
Visiting the city and happened upon this diamond in the rough on the fringe of the French Quarter. Not a very old bar, but already established its identity as a safe space for anyone and everyone. The prices are worth the trek outside the touristy areas, believe me! Bottles of beer are $3-5 each and mixed drinks are priced perfectly. You won't ring up a $300 tab unless you're buying rounds for everyone in the bar! Our bartender for the night was the wonderful Ginger. She was the HBIC and a delight! She made our "Happy Little Accident" of stumbling in off the street the best stop of our trip in New Orleans. Oh, and there's a pool table in the back!
I was in New Orleans for 5 days for my birthday. My friend and I stopped into Wifey's on April 2nd. Loved it! Cozy and super friendly! Ginger was the best!
Stopped in while waiting for Jamnola. Ginger, the bartender was inviting, the beer was cold, the tabby was napping on a barstool and a dog by the name of Mr. Farenheit, was visiting with his dog sitter. Easy, neighborly. Do yourself a favor, drop by!

Visiting from out of town, shoutout to Ginger and Aleesha!! We came on karaoke Wednesday and Missy made us feel so welcomed! Everyone is great including the regulars, seriously can’t recommend enough 🫶🏻
