The Bellmoor Inn & Spa

This has long been my favorite hotel in Rehoboth! Still is. I've stayed here approx 10 times. Lovely lobby, great breakfast. We arrived at 2:40. Check in is at 3:00. The man behind the counter said our room wasn't ready, he would call us when we could check in. Ok, it's kinda late to still be cleaning the room, but whatever. Then I realized that 3 other groups were also waiting to check in because they're rooms were also 'not ready'. Suddenly, at 2:50, all the rooms were ready at the exact same time! What are the odds?! If you have a strict 3pm policy, just say so. Don't look me in the eye and LIE to me and say the room isn't ready. This is what casinos do, and it is t a c k y. Below what I expect from The Bellmoor. Other than that the stay was fine. Got a massage from Blaire in the spa that was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!!

The staff is very friendly. - front desk, wait staff and housekeeping. The omelet station at breakfast was my favorite and a good cup of coffee Tasha introduced me and my friends to French toast cocktail - awesome !!! Spa treatments were great the very best reflexology I ever had , my friends and I experienced the facial, massages, scrub and pedicure. We WILL be back

The service and hotel accommodations were outstanding. Following our check-in, the staff remained highly attentive and consistently exceeded our expectations. Chef Mo prepared exceptional dishes that were perfectly seasoned, offering a distinctively authentic, home-cooked quality. Ms. Linda addressed a minor room issue with remarkable efficiency, demonstrating her status as an exemplary employee. Furthermore, Kyra provided a comprehensive overview of local amenities and attractions, encouraging us to explore the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the near future.

This is a great place to stay! Most of the rooms are very nice - one needed a little TLC. The staff is exceptional (super nice, super helpful every single one!) and the service is as well. It’s an easy couple minute walk to the boardwalk, but also provides a free shuttle if you have a lot to carry, that runs back and forth for a mile radius from 19an to 7:30pm. Highly recommend this place! Also highly recommend the rooms in the main building.

I would not opt to stay at The Bellmoor Inn ... even if the stay was free. I suggest hiring a new management staff. The existing staff cannot empathize with guest expectations. And expectations are high due to the high room cost. It's not worth the cost. Half might be reasonable IF the NEW management staff is competent. All-Caps "IF." Our issue: we opted for zero maid service. We placed the Privacy sign on the door exterior. When we returned our keys were inactivated. Front desk could not see any reason why this happened. We entered the room to find the Privacy sign on the interior, our personal effects moved, and the room tidied. I pressed management as to why this could happen at an Inn that advertises such greatness. And charged for alleged greatness. Management would not accept responsibility in any way. As a business owner, I find this 100% unacceptable. I would not accept a free stay at The Bellmoor Inn.

Staff were friendly. Shuttle to the beach was convenient and the beach is close enough to walk there if you want. Breakfast was good (I had a fresh omelette and some other things) and the afternoon cookies are a nice touch. Edit: removing a star for my second stay. The room the second time was not as nice as the first time. The shower had many places where there has been pink growth, mold, and cracking of caulk. The closet smelled musty. No table in this room on ground floor of garden area. Tv was too small. Bed was too firm for me as a side sleeper but that is subjective. At least 5 fruit flies / drain flies, one other flying bug, and 1 spider were seen in the room. Wall A/C unit was loud. Lack of blackout curtains bothered me in the morning since light got in and disturbed my sleep.

This hotel did not feel like a luxury 4 star hotel! The rooms had a very dingy smell and the hot tub was very dirty. You could tell the hotel was very run down. The costumer service was awful and the only response I got all weekend was I’m new here, I don’t know and that was it! They also kept charging my credit card with strange amounts of money even though our room was pre paid and when I asked they told me it was protocol and spoke to me like I was an idiot! Also at breakfast they put me my husband and my daughter in a completely different room secluded from everyone and we just felt like we were treated differently! I would not recommend and waste your money here!

We are currently staying at the Bellmoor and are having an extremely disappointing experience. It’s our 19th anniversary and I sent an email when we booked two months ago, about getting flowers in our room but received no response. The day of our check-in we received a text message from someone telling us they are there to help and when I replied saying our flight is cancelled and we will be late there was no response, so we had to call. When we finally checked in, our room is very dated, small and musty. The ceiling fan also is super dusty and needs a cleaning. There is a very old window AC unit but very loud and also a dehumidifier so lots of noisy equipment in the room. We asked the front desk for some help, but there wasn’t much they could do. The breakfast was also very disappointing, the omelette I ordered was soaking in oil and the coffee was burnt, and very bitter. My wife asked for mushrooms grilled and was given a scant amount. Finally we were away all day and came back at 9pm to find our room was not cleaned. There was also a gross pink putty or gum stuck to our ceiling, which to their credit, they did get off, but shouldn’t have been there in the first place. We are paying over $500 a night for this room and it’s honestly a bit shocking that these things are happening. Wouldn’t recommend staying here for the price tag.

I wanted to love this hotel—based on the pictures, it looked lovely. There was very good lighting in those pictures. In some ways it’s nicer than other hotels in Rehobeth, but it is not a 4 star hotel. The lobby & bar area would look better if the lighting were brighter. There are two charming lounges off the lobby—one with a gas fireplace that was on and made the room quite nice. Both pools are very small and I think the hot-tub needs to be replaced. It was taped together in places and was missing covers to various elements. But, there are plenty of pool towels. There is only one elevator, which means a lot of waiting around. Also—and this is small, but I did not know parking was $15 per day until I checked out. I may have missed it when I made the reservation, but it might be nice to remind guests at check-in re: the fee. The hotel has 2 EV charging spaces—one Tesla, one general EV. O
