Venture-N is Tucson's leather and bear bar, at 1239 N 6th Ave north of downtown, and one of the city's two dedicated gay bars alongside IBT's. It's a neighbourhood bar first, with a patio, cheap drinks and an older, mostly male crowd that's friendlier than the leather label suggests. On 31 August 2026 two men were shot dead in the bar's parking lot. Tucson police confirmed it as a hate crime; the gunman killed himself at the scene. The bar reopened within days, and the community held a vigil there on 2 September. Google reviewers rate it 4.1 from about 170 reviews.

Perfect place for a patio experience! Not too many bars in Tucson with a large patio worth chilling at! Sunday afternoon karaoke on the patio is a great community mixer, as long as it's not over 100F or rainy. It has to be canceled at those times. People are friendly and welcoming.
