This place was a breath of fresh air even since I first stayed here in 2001, and I've been hooked ever since. The owner Uwe, also a brilliant artist welcomed me with a friendly smile and made me feel at home. I was even shown some of her artwork which I think we're on par with the Picassos and Michiavallis.

My room was unfortunately dirty. There were vermin in two of the four rooms I rented, ranging from various types of ants and mosquitoes to cockroaches. Management seemed uninterested. The bed linens had yellow stains on them upon arrival, but they were quickly changed. The TV was an old tube model from the 90s, but it worked. The staff and owners were very friendly, as were the dogs. That's why I'm giving it two stars.

Very friendly staff. Good quality food.🌸 But I give 3 out of 5 to the room. If you need Internet you might have problems as neither wifi nor mobile data works properly.

Close to town centre, 25 minute walk, good restaurant, pool, good service, net surrounding the bed, good price-quality ratio. Watch the step from shower to floor. You can slide and fall.

We really enjoyed it here. It felt like home. A wonderful, homely hotel. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and it's quiet. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is excellent. Scrambled eggs are cooked to order. The cold meats and cheeses are of good quality. The owner loves tea, and you can taste delicious loose-leaf teas. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

A very quiet and cosy place in the centre of Windhoek. The rooms are shady because of the huge threes around and there is a swimming pool and lots of places to sit outside. Food is lovely, good price as well. A nice place to relax
