عن هذا المكان Maslin Beach

Maslin Beach, about 45 km south of central Adelaide, became Australia's first legally designated clothing-optional beach in 1975. Ochre cliffs back the roughly three-kilometre beach. The nude section is at the southern end, and the far southern stretch has long been used by gay men. It's a daytime spot, mostly in summer. Facilities are limited and access is down a steep cliff path, so bring water and sun protection and check the tides. Nudity is legal only in the designated section, so keep clothes on elsewhere.

I have been going to Maslins for 6 years, on and off... I just love it! As the first beach in Australia to legally be able to be 'unclad', there is nothing like swimming naked in the ocean. about a third of this beach at the Gull Rock end is an unclad area. The other end is absolutely perfect for families and those who just love their beach days.

Always a regular there. So far this year July 2022, I’ve seen Southern Right Whales on three separate occasions, close to the shore! Which other beach 40 minutes from a major city can boast that? Named Australia’s 6 th best beach!

It’s hard to believe that such a pristine and breathtakingly beautiful beach, often with groups of dolphins swimming or surfing, and occasionally Humpback whales frolicking in the sea, could exist a mere 40 minutes from Adelaide, one of our capital cities. Voted sixth best beach in Australia……I can see why!

Stunning beach , incredible to look at totally natural view . Reminded me of the rocks at purmqmarca in Argentina. Half the beach for naturists which didn’t bother me . Better to go when there are some small waves as we had super fun time body surfing

Have ventured here many times & have really enjoyed it, beautiful beaches, clean & zero questionable behaviour by other beach users. BUT today has left a sour taste in my mouth. Firstly a dedicated perv walking around literally staring & making it very obvious, also fully clothed, we had to yell at him to bugger off. Second was another nude male who again decided to stare then proceed to play with himself & follow up with wolf whistles at us. Then a group of young Indian fully dressed in jeans, shoes, jumpers etc took a stroll and honestly u could see it was just to get a look in at ppl. I have no hesitation in telling ppl to bugger off..... and will do this if I feel the need. I'm there for my freedom, to enjoy not to be harassed by idiots

On a recent break in South Australia during a warm November week we decided to head out of Adelaide for some beach time and some wineries in the McLaren Vale. We headed to Maslin’s knowing it was a designated nude beach, and we were not disappointed - possibly the easiest access to any nude beach I’ve ever visited in Australia most are remote and quite a walk to get down to, oh and the parking is abundant and easy. The beach is wide and clean, the water shallow for quite a distance out and the other users are all very respectful. We would head back to Maslin’s when next in SA in the warmer months, very enjoyable!

I virtually lived there between Spring 1980 and Autumn 1981, with a crowd of like-minded friends I found there. Very family friendly, almost no perverts (2 in 200 days) and we scared them off pretty quickly. The public beach north of the unclad beach, up to the township, was almost deserted, but from the unclad sign to the point, it was hard to find a small stretch of sand. My one Happy Place in Australia.

It is a magic beach. Very easy to get to. Spectacular scenery. Safe and clean. Very comfortable as a couple to the north of the stairs. Plenty of parking. Great spot even if you don’t go totally nude.

Yes,it can be cold in winter, but it is still possible to sit on the beach on sunny days and enjoy the experience right through winter...
