A very basic 3-star hostel. Don't expect anything fancy. The bathrooms were more like those in a campground than a hostel. The kitchen pans were all old and broken. It's one of those places where you have to take your own plate and cutlery to your room. Aside from that, we stayed in a private double room which was perfectly acceptable for the price. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. It was a bit far from the bathroom, though. In short, the private rooms are decent, but the common areas need maintenance. There's a small bar that also sells some food. The prices are good.

Its an icon for a reason. Great place, great service, great everything.

Extremely noisy at night time up until 12. First night we stayed there there was a karaoke night that went on until midnight. Impossible to avoid the noise as all rooms are beside the bar/kitchen. Kitchen was very dirty and no one seemed to clean after themselves. It is very bag packer vibes a lot of people living there long term but no one really takes care of the place. Private rooms are very basic and super dark. Very good value for money especially in the area of Port Douglas just be aware you are booking into a party hostel. We stay in hostels/camping sites all the time but I would not reccomend this place if you want chill vibes. Seemed like a great place for young people to socialise and drink.

A second home for me, lovely staff I consider friends & realistically the only affordable place in Port Douglas.

Truly amazing place my friend left $1000 on the table for two hours and it was still there such a safe and welcoming place I would 100% recommend coming here

Jeff and his unbeatable good humor will make you feel like you're staying with your best friends ! A superbly equipped, spacious, clean, peaceful campsite with a range of accommodation options (tents, cabins, van parking). I give 4 stars instead of 5, because sometimes the TV screen and the music in the living room are both very loud in same time, it's not pleasant. But everything else was perfect ! In terms of value for money, I've rarely seen anything as good ! The staff are really helpful and friendly, it was a pleasure to stay here. Thank you for the warm welcome.
