DEER is a small bar on the third floor of the NK Building in Dōyamachō, the Kita-ku district near Umeda where most of Osaka's gay bars are packed into multi-storey buildings. Like many bars here it is likely a counter bar with a host behind the counter and a seat charge or minimum drink. It has only a handful of reviews, but they are positive. We don't have opening hours. Check its Instagram before going, and ask at the door whether foreigners are welcome, as some Dōyamachō bars cater to Japanese regulars only.

A very lovely bar to have drinks, eat snacks and chat. When we visited, the crowd was local, everyone seemed friendly. The bartenders are very nice, handsome, chatty and welcoming. We really felt good there. The interiors are beautiful, they have a luxurious feeling. The variety of drinks is great, quite different from other places. For a cover charge (1000 yen), we also got snacks (salty and sweet) which were refilled after we finished them. A great experience! ❤️
