You will find spacious room with comfy beds, super friendly host with delicious breakfast, everything you need from slipper to toothbrush, you get to enjoy a quiet night after a long day, resting in a warm and cosy room. There's nothing I could ask for more, will definitely choose it again.

We stayed for just 1 night and it was really amazing. Qi is super friendly and welcoming. The place is clean, quiet and comfortable. Bedroom had a kettle and mini fridge available for use. Slippers, toothbrush and conditioner shampoo were also included. Breakfast was delicious and right on time. Definitely worth it!

I had a wonderful stay at Echo lodge thanks to Qi. She has set up this bed and breakfast which so much thought and care. My room was spacious and light with a very comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom where the shower had great water pressure. It’s great to see she is using eco friendly products in the bathroom too. My breakfast in the morning was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I loved my stay and will definitely be recommending Echo lodge to others. My only small note is if you’re a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs just in case as if some of other guests come to their rooms late they may wake you as all the rooms share the same hallway. A very well appointed stay - the hosts have thought of everything from slippers in the room to chocolates in the kitchen. Even the bath towels were soft unlike some hotels where they are stiff. This is our second stay and will definitely be back. One of the bests breakfasts. A well stocked communal kitchen in the lovely dining lounge area for visitors use is a great idea, cookies, fruit and an array of drinks.

A green gem 20 minutes from Auckland, traffic-free. A true oasis, meticulously maintained, with an excellent breakfast served in the dining room beneath the glass walls and impeccable hospitality. Qi is truly attentive and very sweet, as are her family: on the day of our departure, we had to leave very early, and she sent us a nice note and some chocolates, even though we'd told her we'd have to forgo her delicious and varied breakfast. I highly recommend this place!

A wonderful stay albeit for 1 night… every little detail, and some, were thought of. Views were amazing of the sunrise, you’d never know you were in busy suburbia it was SO quiet! Breakfast was delicious with a bowl of fresh cherries included … yum! I’d definitely book again!!

This is the first hotel / motel ever I decided to give the highest rating. Nothing I will complain about because everything is just so good. The room is clean and neat. You can open the drawer or the shelves and they are spotless. Design looking really nice and facilities all looking fairly new. ;) the breakfast is so much worth for the price since they ( the director Qi) cook for you every morning. 🤫please refer the picture if you are curious !! 👀 also the snack bar is small but you know they are trying to make you feel like home.🏠 Qi is so friendly and I can see she really cares of her customers. For example I felt extremely ill first day of staying . She gave me medicine and even made the breakfast for me , suggesting me having breakfast on bed like a queen 👸. Yeah people will say is outer rim of Auckland but the view from this accommodation, it definitely worth it. Don’t miss it guys 🥰👍🏻 Just want to say that if you're from a Mandarin-speaking area, you won't have to worry about language barriers here. The host will even 🥹 tell you where to go and what to eat—her recommendations are all excellent! 👍🏻 The architectural style is absolutely comfortable! Remember to stay here if you have the chance; I'll definitely book it again next time I'm in town! 😆

Best kept secret in Auckland. Only 5 beautiful, boutique rooms. Great setting. Plenty of parking. Awesome breakfast. Great host. I have now stayed multiple times for work. Home away from home.
