عن هذا المكان Hotel Hubertus

Hotel Hubertus is a four-star hotel at Dorfstraße 35, on Sölden's main street, with a spa area and its own restaurant. It is a mainstream ski hotel listed as gay-friendly, not a gay hotel. The central position puts the lifts and the village's après-ski bars within easy reach, which also means some noise on winter nights. Google rates it 4.5 from about 420 reviews. Sölden is busiest from December to April, and the glacier also brings skiers in autumn.

We had a 4-day stay with half board. We were already familiar with the hotel from various dinners we had eaten there over the past two years, which were always very good and of high quality. Our room was brand new, very nice, and clean. The sauna area was attractive and new; however, the glass-enclosed shower/sauna area is somewhat awkward – you can see people showering from the sauna. The fitness room was functionally well-equipped. The entrance area, the restaurant, and the third floor are completely modernized, while the first and second floors are not yet modernized and are showing their age. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed with the dinner – we had the impression that they were just using whatever was left over before the hotel's annual break, and it was all rather basic. For example, they served asparagus in September… unfortunately, this meal couldn't compare to the à la carte dishes we were used to. The staff was professional and friendly.

This was such a gem of a hotel — the rooms, the location, the service, the food. Everything was on point. We had an Alpine Premium Double Room, and it was beautiful: spacious, well-designed and cosy. There was plenty of hanging space for clothes, lots of counter space in the bathroom, a good hairdryer, a full-length mirror and very nice lighting. The beds were very comfortable, and our room also had a small, cosy lounging area and a nice balcony. The hotel is situated on a road, but it is so well soundproofed that you won't hear a sound — neither from the street nor from the rooms next door. The hotel cuisine is delicious. Breakfast offers so many choices: sweet and savoury options, cereals, fruit, good coffee, and they make eggs any way you like them (scrambled, omelette, sunny side up) with whatever toppings you want (ham, herbs, peppers, bacon...). We had dinner at the hotel as well, and it felt like a fine dining experience every night. You get salad from the buffet, a starter/soup (1–2 choices), a main course (3 choices) and dessert. Everything is made with local ingredients, which we loved. There is also a good selection of wines and cocktails. The service was exceptional! Everyone was so friendly and attentive, both at the reception and in the restaurant. We especially loved the service at the bar and restaurant from Martin, Danijela and Andrea — thank you, guys! The owners were also incredibly friendly and always available. Even all the other guests were nice :) The spa is well-equipped and clean. It's not very big, so I can imagine it gets crowded fairly easily, especially in winter. There are three types of saunas and a relaxation room, with fruit and drinks available. My only design advice would be to provide a little more privacy around the showers; they're right in front of the saunas, so a bit more screening would be perfect. The hotel has free parking and a charging station, and the restaurant has a very nice terrace and lounge area. We also received the Ötztal Summer Card for free, which was much appreciated as we made good use of it. This is a huge benefit if you want to use gondolas and buses, or visit museums and other attractions. All the gondolas are within walking distance, with a smaller one right in front of the hotel. The bus stop is also right in front, which is very convenient. Not hotel-related, but the whole Ötztal Valley is absolutely beautiful. We hiked every day, enjoyed amazing views from glaciers and mountain peaks along the way. The mountain huts offer great food and friendly service, and the whole valley seems like a true mountain biking paradise. All in all, it was an amazing stay. Highly recommended!

I didn't stay here, I only ate dinner there. The price/performance ratio was okay and the food tasted good.

We were assigned a room on the third floor, recently renovated and impeccably renovated, worth 5 stars. It faces the street, but is perfectly soundproofed. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Parking is available around the building, with some partially covered spaces for motorcycles. The Summer Card, given upon arrival, is very useful, allowing you to use all the facilities for free! Excellent
