Nice hotel. Rooms a little small, no a/c. Staff is very helpful and nice. I would stay here again. Great location.

I stayed here with my 4 year old son and everything about this hotel was perfect. Staff are exceptional. They were easy to communicate with before our arrival. The woman who staffed the desk at breakfast went out of her way to help and ensure my son was comfortable. I absolutely loved the location and the Strand hotel itself. It’s super close to everything but in a quiet location. The metro is a short walk and you can get to all the central locations very quickly. Also, I LOVED shopping at Magasin du Nord (next to the metro). The kids’ clothing section was amazing. I could’ve spent so much time on the other floors, but was able to stock up on local brands. We also got a few staples in the grocery in the basement. Oh, and my son loved the trampolines outside the hotel! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Copenhagen.

Very cozy hotel close to Kgs. Nytorv and Nyhavn. Good atmosphere in the lobby/bar. Smiling and helpful staff everywhere. Lovely breakfast and large selection at the buffet. We'll be back again!

Nice atmosphere when you come to the breakfast buffet. Very large selection in the choice of the general breakfast, delicious with many homemade delicacies. Extra bonus for the option of lactose-free and plant-based foods. Would definitely recommend Copenhagen Strand to everyone who would come to Copenhagen.

Very clean, well run hotel. Rooms are quite small, but were adequate. Nice breakfast buffet; wish there were great pastry options, but the rhubarb jam was so good. We were very happy there. If you are planning on taking the metro to hotel, be aware that it is a 10 minute walk over cobblestones—not easy on a large suitcase—and metro station at Kongens Nytorv is a bit confusing.

Perfect location - close to everything, yet quiet for sleeping quality. The staff were superb. Friendly, knowledgeable and totally accommodating. We were 9 friends travelling together and they helped us out tremendously. I can't think of enough superlatives to describe our experience at The Strand. Perfect! Oh - and the food- delicious!

Too expensive - had the hell looked forward to the view and was alone in double. room but pays still 2x breakfast. A sad experience and the worst hotel stay I have experienced for that money. I can't recommend that.

Great location. I enjoy it when a hotel has good bathroom products, including quality lotion and hair conditioner (which apparently was not refilled between cleanings) and a make-up mirror! The room layout is fairly awkward and the hotel policy of room cleaning every 4 days probably means most guests do not get their room cleaned unless requested. The walk from the nearest metro does involve cobblestone streets and the closest metro entrance only has stairs. But it is an easy walk if you travel with a carry one. Though I think most guests just order a ride.

This hotel advertises itself as dog-friendly. Sure... if you don't mind being given the worse rooms in the hotel...my room is on the first floor "courtyard" side. I am looking out at a small construction zone and three broken toilets. It is dark. Two days before I arrived the sent me their policy that I could not leave the dog alone in the room. So...How will I go to a museum? Shopping?? Anything this great city has to offer?? If you're not going to treat your guests equitably, just don't advertise that you are accommodating of your guests with furry friends . It's so so disappointing and demeaning.
