Keskuspuisto, Helsinki's Central Park, is a forested green belt that runs about 10 km north from Töölö Bay. It has a long history as a cruising area, documented in Finnish LGBTQ+ history from the decades before decriminalisation in 1971. We couldn't find a current independent source confirming it's still used that way, so read this entry as history rather than a tip. Sex between men is legal in Finland, but sex in a public place can be prosecuted as a public-decency offence, and the park is busy with joggers, dog walkers and families. Helsinki's legal options for meeting men are Sauna Con Hombres, the cinema at Keltainen Ruusu and the bars in the centre and Kallio.
