Hotel GLO

Good location, kind customer service. Room were tidy, but could be more comfortable, like more drawers or better bed backrest. But the food (breakfast, fika and dinner) were amazingly good and fantastic experience. The dishes so simple and cool , i had to buy myself a mug 😉 The interior of the entire hotel is looking also amazing, making the experience wholesome. I would definitely like to come back here, whenever I will have an occasion.

Just spent 3 nights as a family here. Wonderful hotel would highly recommend! Very comfy beds, soft pillows and very friendly helpful staff. So quiet in rooms too! Breakfast and dinner all included as well as afternoon cake and tea/ coffee. Food was delicious and fresh. Good selection at breakfast and a proper home cooked meal( set menu - buffet style )in the evening with delicious soup and bread and variety of salads. Great location- 3 min walk to trams that take you everywhere you need to go ( centre, trains, ferries) and run every few minutes! Love the castle feel as you enter. Would definitely return. We came here for dinner only. The dinner is for hotel guests, yet they also offer this very nice dinner buffet to non-guests for 16 euros only. I highly recommend. The restaurant is located in the basement of the beautiful art nouveau building. Service is really very friendly and food is simple but tasty.

I didn't appreciate the location near a strip club although the location is otherwise good. Room was noisy in the evening for unknown reason. Dinner was good. Premium room had no slippers and the espresso machine didn't work. Shower wall transparent so whoever is in the bedroom can see the person in the shower, needs curtains. Service varied depending on the receptionist, some excellent. Gym was a disappointment, especially the running machine. Public toilets are unisex as in other Strawberry hotels, meaning they are unclean. Overall a good experience, mostly because of the dinner and central location, but needs a privacy curtain, slippers, normal running machine and single sex public toilets.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, and the food for breakfast and dinner was quite satisfactory. The staff was very polite with everything we needed. Vincent, at the front desk, in particular, was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend the hotel.
