So, the room we slept in didn't have any windows, which was a bit of a surprise. Overall, though, all the rooms seemed very clean and tidy. The concept with a shared room, toilet, shower, and kitchen works, but it's not quite to my taste. With windows in the bedroom, I would definitely recommend it, especially since the very central location makes everything easily accessible on foot.

Good location and hostel looks very nice. But we booked a twin room and there were bed bugs. There is no one staying in front desk, so can’t change the room.

Very clean and nice. Staff amazing. Unfortunately not really have Lobby or Coworking or living room area where you do your laptop things. As an Asian travellers, we love hoatel who provided bided/gun spray at the toilet

Honestly, it’s not even a competition. The location alone is unbeatable: right in the very heart of the city, surrounded by the best bars, cafés, nightlife, and everything that makes Helsinki vibrant and alive. You step outside and you’re already there. The hostel itself is a place of excellent taste and style. Everything feels carefully thought out, modern, cozy, and always spotlessly clean. The kitchen is absolutely immaculate — fully equipped, super organized, with everything you need to actually enjoy cooking. There’s a dishwasher, washing machine, laundry facilities, and everything works perfectly. And then… the extras. PlayStation for guests 🎮, super comfortable chill-out areas, a relaxed and social vibe, and even a MacBook available for guests to use — which is something you almost never see. It really feels like a creative, intelligent, and welcoming space, not just a place to sleep. The beds are extremely comfortable, with great privacy, so you can rest properly. The bathrooms are always clean, well maintained, and the showers have very hot water (which is a blessing in Finland!). Everything just works, all the time. But now, the most important part. At first, I thought the best thing about this hostel was the staff member Benedict. No, wait. That’s not true. Actually… it’s Rebeca. Rebeca is not just a receptionist — she is the soul of this hostel. She is incredibly kind, warm, helpful, friendly, and genuinely cares about people. She makes you feel welcome from the very first second, like you’re not a guest, but someone who truly belongs there. Her positive energy, her smile, her attention to detail, and her willingness to help with absolutely anything make a huge difference. Honestly, Rebeca elevates the entire experience to another level. You can have the best location, the best facilities, the best design — but it’s people who make a place unforgettable. And Rebeca does exactly that. She turns an amazing hostel into a truly special one. This is, by far, the most interesting, comfortable, well-located, and enjoyable hostel in Helsinki. I was bitten by bed bugs. I understand that it's possible to get bitten by bed bugs no matter how clean the room is, but the shower and toilet aren't very clean either, so I'm not sure about that.

I really liked this place. It was cozy and safe, with a kitchen, hairdryer, and slippers. The room wasn't incredibly warm (but it was okay), and it was a place I would definitely return to. The location was also great. The only downside was that the staff only worked about three hours a day.
