Jyväskylän Seta ry

Jyväskylän Seta ry (Jyväskylän Seksuaalinen Tasavertaisuus ry) is the LGBTQ+ rights association for Jyväskylä and the wider Central Finland (Keski-Suomi) region, and a member of the national federation Seta. In a city without a dedicated gay bar or sauna, it functions as the practical hub of local queer life. The association runs peer-support and discussion groups, social and recreational meet-ups, and awareness and education work, and it organises Jyväskylä Pride each September. It is based at the Matara centre for civic activity (Kansalaistoiminnankeskus Matara) on Matarankatu, a short walk from the city centre.
