Otherwise, a cozy and lovely place, but very hot and apparently there is no air conditioning! Also, water should be free when you have bought a drink anyway, especially in such a hot weather.

Decent staff and atmosphere. A more old-school gay bar, friendly and LGBTQ+ accepting people. Not really an LGBTQ+ safe space to be precise, in my opinion. Dance floor on the lower floor and karaoke, toilets were OK, but some broken. Upper floor 2 pool tables, which I hadn't tried and a smoking room which is good. Entrance fee of 3e for both hangar and entrance I believe, it's okay and affordable. If you need a SAFE safe space, I'd recommend another bar like 1bar for it being small and safer in general. The way this place is safe, is by the means that people don't care what you are, but that doesn't necessarily make it a safe space. Some people somewhat on other stuff as well than just alcohol, at least when I visited. The place was created originally by an old-school racist who owned a lot of bars and clubs in Helsinki and Oulu as well, the biggest motivation for them to create a gay bar is probably the same as making the bar for black people in Helsinki at the time. --Not wanting that population to spend time in his other bars. I think some of that history still carries to this day's development of this place as well. Water costs 1,5e even with paying for another drink which is ridiculous even if it's only 1,5e. Most places don't charge for water if you order something that costs at the same time, some places serve water free. Won the dildo bingo grand price when I visited and some person wanted to hug after which they smelled my hair. Didn't really enjoy the latter, but these are things that can happen regardless of the club/bar.

They have a UMK night even though Eurovision is boycotted. Not a progressive gay bar. Instead of asking what I said, the bartender just made the drink wrong and charged me more than the value of the drink I ordered.

Bar/admission 3e. not bad but certainly not free. Nice free atmosphere among the people. There is a smoking room, a dance floor and a karaoke room and a booth. There are also 2 billiard tables. The clubs didn't have heads and it didn't seem like all the balls were in the safe so what do you do with them then. The microphones in the karaoke room were quite damaged and the other one didn't work in practice. The staff was quite nice. Water costs 1.50e even if you order something else which is quite incomprehensible, especially when you are in a bar where you plan to dance. Shots are also expensive and are kept warm. The buckets are quite funny. Overall, I had a slightly mixed feeling.

great place, good atmosphere and good music

Honestly, the best club in Oulu I’ve been to. Music is nice usually as well as the number of people is pretty sufficient, but of course, depending on the day. The age range between people is big, what makes it comfortable for everybody there. Special credit for being lgbtq friendly:)

I went because I was challenged, but I had to get in, so I left.
