Le Tango (La Boite a Frissons)

Le Tango, known officially as La Boite a Frissons, is a beloved LGBTQ dancehall in a 1930s ballroom near Arts et Metiers. It is best known for its afternoon and evening bals where couples of every gender dance to musette, retro pop, disco and world music rather than club electro, and for the famous slow-dance that opens the night. Friendly, unpretentious and popular with lesbians as well as gay men, it is one of the warmest and most distinctive queer venues in Paris.
