DUPride e.V.

DUPride e.V. (Verein Duisburger queerer Menschen) is the association behind Duisburg's Christopher Street Day. Founded in 2012, it organises the annual CSD Duisburg demonstration and street festival, adding the political demo element in 2016 and awarding the "Brücke der Solidarität" tolerance prize. As a volunteer organisation it does not run a public venue, but it is the central point of reference for Duisburg's Pride and queer-community life. The main CSD takes place in late July each year, with information and dates published on the group's website.
