Great, high quality burgers and potatoes!
Really nice little place. I really liked the Parmesan potatoes and enjoyed my chicken burger. My partner said their dulce de leche milkshake was really good. The buns are baked in the adjoining bakery where I would highly recommend you for for a doughnut after your meal. The vibes are very millennial/ gen Z which I enjoyed. Lots of graffiti and stickers, silly bits of humour like the "Le kock yourself" meal deal. The prices are about the same as everywhere else in Reykjavík, but I very much enjoyed it so I would say for me it was worth the price tag. Service was speedy. You order at the counter. Food is cooked fresh in front of you.
I had a burger, and I have to say, it was well-made and tasty. The service is self-service (you order your food at the counter, while for drinks: water is free and with unlimited refills, while other drinks are available from the fridge). On a negative note: the burgers, in addition to costing almost €20 or more (which is in line with their prices for Iceland), are quite small for what they cost. So, in my opinion, it's not worth it if you're just looking for burgers.
Good burgers 8/10 Amazing potatoes 10/10 Tomato soup is heavy and the grilled cheese is extremly oily(ew) , hard pass! 4/10 Mid donuts 5/10
Based on the very good reviews, I stopped here for a burger while I was in the area, and unfortunately, the burger was terribly disappointing... it was definitely one of the worst. The meat was very poorly seasoned, and the bun was incredibly weak, considering they're either a collaborator or have their own bakery. The only positives are the good potatoes. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this burger joint as a whole.
We came here because several reviews mentioned that they offered gluten-free options. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The staff explained that there is cross-contamination in the kitchen, so it isn’t safe for people with celiac disease. As a result, I couldn’t order anything and the visit ended up being a waste of time. I want to point out that the staff, especially the girl who helped us, was very kind and took the time to explain everything clearly. This review is only to inform other people with celiac disease or anyone who needs a strict gluten-free diet, as some of the previous reviews are misleading.
