Albergo Orologio The only truly positive thing about this hotel is the location. It is excellent — very close to the city center, metro station, train station and the main attractions of Brescia. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. Even in mid-May the room was cold, and the heating system was apparently disabled centrally. The thermostat display was literally covered with tape so guests could not even see the settings. It showed 22°C, but the room was clearly much colder. The room also received almost no sunlight during the day, which made it even worse. The bathroom was another big problem. The radiator did not work at all and there was barely any hot water in the shower. After a long day walking around the city, at least a hot shower would have been expected, but even that was not possible. Breakfast was included, but honestly it was one of the weakest hotel breakfasts I have ever seen in a 3-star hotel. The breakfast area is extremely small — if several guests arrive at the same time, there is simply nowhere to sit. Tables are packed so closely together that there is absolutely no privacy. The food selection was also very poor: some bread, cereal, a little salami and a few croissants. No warm breakfast, no eggs in any form. One morning there was no free table inside, so we sat outside. We ordered a cappuccino and a coffee, and instead of bringing the drinks to the table, the employee handed the hot cups directly into my hands while I was already carrying plates. It felt lazy and unprofessional. The soundproofing is also terrible. There was an event outside on Saturday night and it honestly sounded as if the party was inside the room. You can hear absolutely everything from outside and from other rooms. For nearly 100,000 HUF for two nights for two people, this hotel was a major disappointment. I have stayed in much better guesthouses and apartments in Hungary for much less money. I would definitely not return and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel to others.

Very nice hotel in a super central location. Excellent hospitality and cleanliness. Delicious breakfast served in a small room on the first floor.

Central location, just steps from the main squares and the historic center. Rooms are in line with the price paid. Good breakfast: I recommend the pear and chocolate cake: excellent. Having water and a teapot available for guests would definitely be a welcome addition.

Excellent location for visiting Brescia, a very nice hotel right in the center, with comfortable rooms and helpful and efficient staff. The only drawback, as is often the case, is the lack of luggage racks. Good breakfast in a somewhat small room. Definitely recommended.

Everything was fine for a three-star hotel, except, as always, the room lacked space for luggage. The helpful staff promptly resolved a problem with the TV. The only flaw: the tiny breakfast room and the Arabic music (which even foreign guests were very surprised to hear). Excellent location.

Excellent hotel

Cramped hotel, poorly laid out. Rooms with steps. Renovated in an ill-conceived manner, in my opinion. The breakfast was very unappealing, served by unfriendly, unfriendly, and unwelcoming staff, eager to get out as quickly as possible. I don't recommend it, and I won't return.
