Hotel Nologo

The hotel is very atmospheric, decorated in an interesting, musical style, giving it a unique atmosphere. Despite only being a 2-star hotel, it is well-equipped – the room has air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, bidet, toilet, sink, and hairdryer, a TV, and a balcony. The rooms are quite small, but they can comfortably accommodate short stays. A big plus is the daily room cleaning, the cots are made, and the towels are changed regularly, which definitely enhances the comfort of your stay. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, even though most of the staff speaks primarily Italian. Breakfast is typically Italian, so the selection isn't extensive, but everyone can still count on coffee/tea and a cornetto. Some people say the elevator is cramped. True, and I wouldn't recommend it to people with claustrophobia, but four people without luggage, or two with luggage, will be able to get in without any problems. If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the center of Genoa, I recommend it.

A two-star hotel that deserves at least three! The rooms are large and spacious, the staff is extremely kind and helpful, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the breakfast, both sweet and savory, is plentiful, being a buffet, and offers a wide selection of options. Free Wi-Fi and discounted parking are available. The reception is always staffed, very helpful, and extremely kind and attentive to any needs you may have. The location is truly excellent: just steps from the Genova Brignole train station, in the middle of one of Genoa's most commercial streets, with a variety of shops, cinemas, restaurants, traditional trattorias, bars, and, above all, bakeries/focaccerie where you can enjoy the superb and original focaccia genovese (also available at the hotel buffet)! The only small drawback: the rooms have thin walls, so noise from adjacent rooms can be heard... distinctly! You can't have everything, but for the price... what more could you ask for?

This hotel was slightly above average in terms of satisfaction. It's conveniently located near the station, making it a very practical choice.

Very friendly staff, new room and bathroom facilities, excellent hotel, right in the center, good shops, great.

A modern contemporary design with each floor having a different music theme, the rooms and bathrooms are smallish but perfectly adequate for short stays, the room is comfortable (although I would liked another pillow) and spotlessly clean. The hotel is located on a pedestrianised street a few minutes walk from the train station and airport bus stop. The only negative is that the hotel rooms are not very well sound proofed and it was a little noisy, but this was not a major issue. Given the price paid for the room, it is highly recommended for a short stay. Updated after second stay April 26 and I am glad to report that the rooms are still clean & comfortable and the staff I dealt with are very friendly - recommend for those who want comfort but are traveling on a budget

A nice, renovated hotel in the city center. The only drawbacks are the small rooms and bathrooms.

The hotel is well-organized and close to the center of Genoa. The parking problem was solved by the nearby garage.

We just left the hotel, heading to Rome. Excellent location, everything brand new, impeccably clean. We disembarked from the MSC cruise ship and are as comfortable as we were on board. Very quiet. We are Claudia and Daniel from Buenos Aires, Argentina. We will be back.

Mainly aimed for youngsters. Clean and efficient rooms. Limited by the architecture of the old building it is in , they have done a good job converting it to a hotel. Not a fancy one but does the job and a great location.
