Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa

If you're arriving by car, be prepared to explore Palermo street by street. Despite using Google Maps, Waze, and four calls to reception, the only directions we received were: "It's easy." Clearly, it's only easy if you already know the way. A simple map sent before arrival would have saved us a lot of detours. Once we arrived, the disappointment continued. The rooms fall far short of the expected standard of a 4-star hotel: a poorly designed bathroom, a leaky shower, and the inability to shower while properly closing the door. An innovative concept, no doubt, but impractical. This hotel clearly thrives on its exceptional location. Otherwise, the value for money is very disappointing. In Palermo, you can easily find better, sometimes for less, and with staff more attentive to helping guests find their way.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, right in the center and within walking distance of everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and you could really feel they wanted to make your holiday as fun as possible. A very special thanks to Alessio! I left my wallet in a taxi, and he honestly made even more effort than I did to find it 😄 Such a great person, thank you so much, Alessio! We also had a small issue with the air conditioning in our room, and they immediately moved us to another room. Everything was solved so quick. We had an amazing experience. I’ll definitely stay here again whenever I’m in Palermo and will recommend it to my friends. Thank you for everything 🙏

The hotel is in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants all around. It's easy to navigate to and from. The room was great, service was amazing and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I'll definitely start again if I'm in Palermo in the future.

Lovely hotel, fantastic bar/lobby area. Great service, specially Vittorio from the bar. Only thing I would point out is the hallways could use a fresh layer of paint and maybe a new carpet running down the halls, it looked a bit worn out. I look forward to returning next year. Thank you !

Excellent hotel in a great location in Palermo. The location is truly beautiful, though the rooms aren't, as they're a bit uncomfortable for working. The breakfast is good, and the gym is available.
