Palermo Pride is Sicily's largest LGBTQ+ march, held on the third Saturday of June and organised by the Coordinamento Palermo Pride, a coalition co-founded by Arcigay Palermo. The corteo winds through the historic centre — recent editions have set off from Via Roma and ended at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa — with a wider programme of debates, parties and cultural events across Pride week. It is a joyful, political and increasingly large celebration in a city with a long, complex relationship to visibility.
