Great stay at the DT! Staff was welcoming and helpful, room was very nice and location is fab.
Truly an excellent experience at the Double by Hilton Trieste. An elegant and charming hotel, housed in a splendid historic building in the heart of the city. The location is simply perfect for exploring Trieste on foot. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with great attention to detail. Special mention goes to the staff: professional, friendly, and always available. The breakfast was also excellent, generous and high-quality. A property that perfectly combines elegance, comfort, and a historic atmosphere. Highly recommended and definitely a place I would happily return to.
Lovely hotel, right at the centre of Trieste, 5 mins walk from anywhere. The only downside of the hotel is the parking, you are meant to pull up outside, unload, check in and get pass for car park. Only issue is, hard to park and unload (as only place to do this is in a bus stop), whilst we were there the police came along and moved everyone along. Also the car park they point you too is 10 min walk away, in a very hard to get to (and out of) location, up a big hill, so anybody with walking difficulties would not be able to get to/out of, and if you are no good at hill starts, do not even think about using that car park, but not sure what other options you have.
Quiet rooms, great location. Air conditioning. Friendly people. Very good breakfast.
This hotel is extremely conveniently located: a 10-minute walk from the main train station and close to the pedestrian zone. Even from the outside, the former bank palazzo exudes luxury. The interior is stately and impressive. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The reception and guest services are exemplary in their courtesy, and the housekeeping is top-notch. The generous breakfast buffet guarantees an exceptionally good start to the day. The cocktail bar is also well worth a visit in the evening. Individual requests are happily accommodated. Our stay at the end of May 2026 was extremely pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel! Many thanks to the entire team for their attentive friendliness and perfect service!
