Best Guest Porto Hostel

The room was a disaster. The mattresses were torn; we could feel the springs when we lay down. We complained at reception, and they said they would try to fix it. After two days of insisting, they only replaced them with mattresses in the same condition as the ones we had. It was also very hot, and there wasn't even a fan. I wouldn't recommend this hostel.

The service and the rooms were a disaster. We could feel the springs in the mattresses while we slept, and when we complained, their response was: "We have a note saying they need to be replaced in that room." Two days later they replaced them, and they were just as bad. Terrible and completely lacking in empathy. We know that when you stay in a hostel you shouldn't expect much, but a decent mattress is essential.

Very uncomfortable and old mattresses, you could feel the springs digging into your back, impossible to rest well.

Im not used staying at hostels and I must say this one is a Great hostel - fresh and clean and the staff is absolutely amazing. So friendly and helpful, this place is so good because of them. Thanks for everything!

I had a nice stay overall. The staff at the reception were extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made a really good impression. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downsides were the lack of ventilation in the bathroom and the bed, which could be of better quality. Apart from that, the experience was very good and the service was excellent

Great location. Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Very good price. Breakfast was included. Small but very tasty. Near the cathedral. Good starting point for the Camino de Santiago. I would book it again in a heartbeat.

Among the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are spotless, the staff are friendly, and the location is very central. The internet connection is also very good. I'll definitely be back again on my travels. I'd just recommend adding a showerhead holder to the showers, as they're a bit uncomfortable without one.
