Fantastic location, great staff and well appointed rooms overall. Such a fantastic choice for a hotel during your time in lljublana. The cafe downstairs and the overall staff attention to detail is also amazing.

Old but gold. Exelnt location and nice service.

A hotel located directly in the pedestrian zone with a good breakfast. The downside: the rooms are quite dated and could use some renovation. A kettle and mini-fridge are provided. Unfortunately, there is still construction noise; it gets noisy from 7:00 AM onwards if you have a window facing the courtyard.

It's very difficult to justify the price-quality ratio for this hotel. Negative points: - The rooms are small and very old. Renovations are underway and are far from luxurious. The first room we were given had a very strong smell of cigarettes. I went back to reception, and they gave me another room. - The air conditioning unit is positioned behind the window curtains, which means it's completely blocked at night. You have to be resourceful to keep the air conditioning on at night by tying the curtains up however you can. - The bathroom is also very cramped, and the hairdryer didn't work. - The shower cubicle is tiny and very old. - Between the hotel's age and the old carpeting, the cleaning staff uses a lot of odor-eliminating spray, which can be quite unpleasant. - Breakfast is served in a huge room reminiscent of mass-market tourist hotels. The buffet is fairly well stocked, but the quality is lacking. Quite shockingly, items made to order (e.g., omelets) are charged extra. This service is typically included in hotels of this category. Good four star hotel in the center

A must-visit for almost 25 years whenever I'm in Ljubljana – even if it's just for breakfast, like this year. Superb service, friendliness is paramount. Everything is clean and well-maintained. They leave nothing to be desired.
