Super quiet, very peaceful, wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean and Mount Teide. Very happy with the Hotel Rural Casablanca from arrival to departure.

Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs! The rooms are neither soundproofed nor thermally insulated, access to all the walks is complicated, and the prices are exorbitant! For the same price, we stayed in a 4-star hotel on the coast!

We went for a weekend and brought our dogs. Everything was great, the staff were super friendly, and they even gave us recommendations for dog-friendly restaurants. The room was very nice and clean. We were delighted and will definitely be back.

I made a reservation through Booking.com from December 24th to 26th, and a few weeks later, I added December 23rd to 24th via WhatsApp. When I arrived, I didn't have a room assigned, and neither of my registrations appeared on the physical paper or computer system. They gave me another available room, adapted for people with disabilities, with a kitchen, for the same price. The room was okay, but I didn't like the lack of privacy since the door was entirely made of glass. The bathroom had dirty carpet with many large dog urine stains, the bidet and sink had weak water pressure, the wardrobe had black mold inside and a strong odor, making it unusable, the shower bench had stagnant water, and the showerhead had very weak water pressure. The heater in the bathroom and the bedroom didn't work, but we did have a wired heater that worked fine. The electricity was controlled by a card attached with tape; if it was touched or removed, three rooms, including ours, lost power. The main refrigerator in the kitchen didn't cool sufficiently. One of the light bulbs in the living room was burned out. There's a €7 charge per pet, but there are no feeders or beds for them. Breakfast is an acceptable buffet, but there's no restaurant for lunch, and dinner is a set menu with no options if you choose half-board; you can't go on your own. The pool is very nice, accessible, and heated. At night, there's no lighting on the path from the parking lot to the room; you have to use your phone's flashlight. After all the mistakes they made with me, I also had problems with Christmas dinner. I booked it back in October, after they told me the menu. Two days before going to the hotel, they asked me if I was still booking dinner, and I had to remind them that it was already reserved for two. On the morning of the 24th, I asked about dinner times, and they let me choose a time. I signed up for 9:00, and a couple of hours later, when we went to confirm, they told us it was on the list. When we arrived at 9:00, there wasn't a table ready for us. They sat us at a large table for eight people, one next to the other, while other couples sat facing each other with candles. They started bringing us dishes without taking our order, and then they told us there were no options to choose from, even though they had told me via WhatsApp that there were. The menu included seafood, which I'm allergic to, but I didn't mention it since, according to WhatsApp, there were options. They left it for my partner, and I was brought rice with vegetables. His dish was supposed to be a seafood salad, but what he ate was a square piece of toast with crab salad spread on a bed of lettuce. The second course was sirloin steak with sherry sauce and mashed potatoes. The meat was dry and needed more wine reduction, but the mashed potatoes were good and well-made. The dessert was a decent but unremarkable chocolate mousse in a small glass. The whole menu cost €45 per person, which wasn't worth it. Had I known, I would have booked a restaurant in advance. Over three days, they gave us different excuses, from management's fault to blame among colleagues, criticism of the manager, and on the last day, they told us we did have a room and that they hadn't noticed. They clean rooms every day, so I don't believe that excuse, since they would have seen the room empty since the 24th. At the same time as cleaning rooms, they replenish food and staff reception. The same bare hand touches food, money, cleaning products, the toilet, etc. There are no hygiene or safety measures in place for guests. We found old bloodstains on a hand towel and a duvet. There's no 24-hour reception either.

Good afternoon, I wanted to share this review because my birthday is coming up and I had booked this place for April 18th, as mentioned in my previous review. A colleague who was also affected by the cancellation mentioned that they were planning to celebrate their birthday. I want to refute what the owner says, as it's completely untrue that I refused to meet with her and that the conditions changed. Apparently, the management changed, altering the agreements I had made a year in advance. They wanted to charge me for beer and all other drinks. Previously, we brought our own food, beer, and all kinds of beverages to consume there. So, if the conditions have changed, I feel cheated. We had planned my birthday celebration a year in advance. I did receive a refund and returned all the guests' money, as the party wasn't going to be held. Let's see if you want to answer me here too, just like you answered the other person with a negative review, which is what you deserve for deceiving all your customers like this, as evidenced by the recent reviews I've read this month. I'm writing now because I hadn't shared my opinion, and many other affected customers will share yours. The reason the event was canceled was because it was never agreed upon. What the rules were going to be? You told me that no food could be brought in from outside and that any drinks inside would cost €15 per additional person. So don't tell me that's a lie. If you want to respond, go ahead, but don't act all high and mighty when that's not how it was. You've ruined my birthday celebration there, which I'm glad about, so we don't arrive and get a surprise. You also wanted me to order catering and not use the tables, as was done previously with the previous management. I understand you have your own way of doing things, but don't even think about replying to a review with the opposite message. I understand you want to save your business, but not by spreading lies. You spoke to me on the phone and told me everything verbally; there's nothing in writing, which is why. I decided to cancel. We had all 20 rooms booked a year in advance. So there are 40 angry guests who are upset about losing that weekend, and many of them were coming from other islands. Please understand that each of them is posting their opinion here and expressing their dissatisfaction with your company. Regards

The hotel is beautiful, and the views are stunning. The location is truly rural, surrounded by orchards, and the rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. It's a shame it's so poorly managed; there's no café or bar, and some of the staff are unfriendly.

Great hotel in a quiet and peaceful location, spacious rooms, very friendly staff. There is parking on site. Also a great bonus is the 24-hour heated pool.
