B&B HOTEL Zaragoza Royal

The room was at the floor with full scale renovations in progress. No warning beforehand. Didn’t get any rest during day time and neither sleep at night. Drunk guests returning late, one has to be removed by the police at 2am

While I understand that hotel prices may fluctuate depending on season or circumstances, nowhere during booking was it made clear that the hotel is currently under renovation. Being woken up at 8:30 a.m. by loud banging is not what anyone expects when staying at a hotel, especially when hoping for a restful morning. The room itself was clearly unfinished -exposed live wires, a non-functioning TV, and an overall sense that it simply wasn’t ready for guests. This isn’t just a comfort issue , it’s a safety concern. The staff were friendly and apologetic, and I appreciate their kindness. However, management seriously needs to reconsider offering rooms in this state, especially without forewarning guests about the disruption and hazards. Transparency is essential, and so is basic guest safety.

This is the second time we have stayed, a year later. We mentioned the problems shown below last year and they are all still here. - rooms are way to hot, air con didn’t even turn on. Had to sleep with windows open all night and you get noise from neighbouring buildings - pillows very uncomfortable and soft - the shower will also all of a sudden go hot. This happened last year , dangerous!! - toilet is so loud flushing, you can really hear it, not only yours but rooms on both sides, in the middle of the night. - we asked to change the room from two single beds , to a double bed if possible. The receptionist was nice , but said it’s impossible as the hotel was fully booked. It’s 4 floors, we were there for two days and didn’t see any other guests. I get the feeling they maybe just weren’t that bothered in helping. I may be wrong , but felt strange. Plus points - room was clean - comfy bed

I appreciated when the staff took action when other guests were loud late at night.

Excellent service and garage access is seamless. The receptionist who checked us in was super polite, kind and helpful. This would be five stars, but the mattresses are a bit old and need replacing. Other than that, the rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were nice. It was great to have a full-sized bath tub.
