Great food and a wonderful atmosphere! What really made our experience exceptional was our server, Anthony. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my family and me. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the outstanding service. Anthony truly made our experience amazing, and when we come back, we will definitely be asking for him again.

We had dinner here while staying at The Balmoral on vacation and it was absolutely wonderful. Each of us had four different entrees and all four were cooked to perfection (and I’m fairly particular about how my steak is cooked). Drinks were good as was the service. Highly recommend!

Excellent drinks, a large selection of each spirit. Everything was well made by friendly bartenders. £20 a drink is a bit much but the atmosphere equals it out.

The Brasserie Prince was a wonderful surprise during our stay in Edinburgh. The concept is both original and very successful: classic French-inspired cuisine prepared with high-quality Scottish products. It was really interesting to discover familiar French dishes revisited with local Scottish ingredients and influences. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent, elegant but still warm and welcoming. We also had the pleasure of meeting a waiter who was originally from Orléans, just like us, which made the experience even more memorable. He was extremely friendly and we really enjoyed chatting with him. Even though some dishes were inspired by French cuisine we already know well, the flavors felt unique thanks to the Scottish products and local touch. Everything was delicious, refined, and beautifully prepared. A fantastic address in Edinburgh that we would gladly recommend.

Always love this place - Great for a date on this occasion

Can't fault this restaurant - once again, delicious food. There's a few new things on the menu. I tried the new crab starter, fresh & zingy, and the new scallop dish. It was a huge scallop, very tasty. Not as good as the previous scallop dish though, IMO. I then had a beautiful fillet steak, with watercress, fries & a bearnaise sauce. Will need to back soon & try some of other new dishes. Big thanks to David for looking after me as always, and the great chat 💜
