Stay with friends from May 14 to May 17, 2026. Overall, we had a good stay for a few days in London. The main highlight of this hotel is its ideal location: just a 5-minute walk from St. Pancras station, the subway, and numerous restaurants, which is very convenient for visiting the city. We also appreciated the warm welcome from the owner, who was very helpful and kindly lent us a charger adapter for our phones free of charge. The bedding was very comfortable, and the towels were changed every day. Regarding the negative points: we had room number 8 on the ground floor. The room lacks a bit of modernity with outdated decor. The small windows overlook a brick wall, making the room quite dark. The heating did not work, although it ultimately did not bother us too much. It should also be noted that you can hear the subway lines and street noise continuously. However, we had read this in the reviews before booking, so it was not a surprise. The small stairs to climb at the entrance of the room, as well as the curtains that do not block the light well, may also bother some travelers. In summary: very good for a short stay to enjoy London and its strategic location. On the other hand, for a longer stay, I do not think it is ideal.
I had to pick a hotel at last minute and knew room was small and no ensuite but 1) it was tiny- hard to even unpack 2) window had to be open as hot but very noisy outside- the street and i seemed to wake up at 430 . 3) third floor no steps- -do not come unless you can carry your luggage up- nobody offered to help so i did it
I have to say I wasn't expecting much for this hotel it was at the cheaper end and near the railway stations. However I was pleasantly surprised. Stayed with my best friend in a twin room it was basically a base for our trip to London so onky really slept and showered there. Nice welcome digital sign in. Room was small and basic but clean and warm. Small bathroom with toilet sink and shower if you're big you would struggle I think in there. Had clean towels every day. Bedding was fresh and clean. Tea and Coffee making facilties in the room. TV in room although we didn't use that. It was right near London St Pancras and King's Cross and Ealing distance about 30 min to Oxford St and Regent St but Tube stations nearby. As a base for a couple nights itvwas ideal.
We spent 2 nights here after flying into Heathrow. We wanted to be close to the St Pancras Train station because we were taking the Eurostar to Paris. We planned to drop our luggage off and were pleased that they had a room available for us without additional charges, mid morning, several hours before check in time. 3 of us were in a "family room" that slept 4 in 2 twin beds and a double bed. There was not much walking space between the beds and the closet was hard to access since it was behind one of the beds. The photos on the website for this room are accurate but there are no bathroom photos. The room and bathroom were clean but the bathroom was not renovated and the sink had 2 faucets that didn't mix the hot and cold water. The bathroom was small and the shower stall had a curtain that looked dingy and some of the molding and grout didn't look fresh. My college aged daughter wanted to wear shower shoes but she didn't have any. I told her this was going to prepare her for dorm life. The hard floors were clean. We didn't miss the air conditioning since it was late May and the weather was cool. We were in a first floor room but there were still flights of stairs to access our room from the ground floor. We did get help moving our largest suitcase to the room. I would not stay in the room again though because it was too loud and bright. The windows were cracked open to let air in and the curtains were sheer so the sunlight was very bright in the room. The bright sun and city noise woke me up around 5am. The price was reasonable though and the location was great. We were able to get to the hotel from the airport on public transit and walked to St Pancras with our luggage. We were able to walk to the Postal Museum and the British Museum.
The guy who checked us in was friendly and made a good impression. Regrettably that is the only positive think I can say. We had a room on the third floor which was extremely cramped and very basic. We went out for the evening and when we returned were overpowered by the stench from our bathroom, it smelt of sewage dreadful and made us gag. We phoned reception to explain the situation and the manager said he’d come and put some bleach down the toilet and shower. He did this but no way was that going to clear it. We told him we weren’t happy with that solution and asked for another room. He curtly told us there wasn’t another room and if there was he would give us it! He then walked out whilst we were still talking to him, Expedia phoned the hotel and were told we could leave and get a full refund. As it was after 10.30 at night we were unable to get anywhere else so were stuck there. I realise things go wrong sometimes but the attitude of the manager was just awful. Avoid this place.
great location and friendly service in a small, but clean budget hotel. the street door locks for safety, location is very close to st pancras, cafes, and restaurants, though a bit noisy on saturday nights with the windows open for air. a good deal.
A perfectly fine budget hotel in a very convenient location. Clearly not very luxurious but clean and tidy. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby and over the road from the train station. I would trot over to waitrose or m&s if you want stuff for your room as there is no restaurant or room service.
Incredible location, just opposite to Pancras station, very safe, decent restaurants nearby, found an Indian with $4 Chicken briyani takeaway! Front desk very friendly. Room is small, can hear the trains, but I felt bed was very comfy. Kettle in room with tea/coffee was helpful.
Wonderful place: Fantastic location 40 meters from the subway. Close to a big market where you can find everything. Staff fantastic, Mr. Winson very attentive and spoke Portuguese, we felt at home, Mr. Manuel always attentive. Fantastic cleaning, all perfect.
Great little hotel, perfect location for Kings X, St Pancras. Room was ready at noon, no lift but the very helpful Wilson helped with luggage upstairs. Room is compact, very clean and had everything we needed. Excellent shower in en-suite.
Didn't stay hence the one star.
Night out at the bar, no input about other services provided. Nice bar, friendly staff, beautiful quiet terrace at the top.
God👌👌💯💯💯
They are giving ridiculous rejections on the booking site.

Went there with a friend tonight, the drinks are reasonable prices, and the bar man is very kind and lovely! Definitely come back again !
great staff, good vibes
One extremly rude bar person who was working last night at Sweet Wednesday. He is so rude that he needs to be fired with immediate effect. There was an incident where he was constantly raising his voice. If you are going to employ people like this you will lose clients. The other member a girl was lovely.
I have spend 25 years coming here. My kind of people. Excellent events. Rooms are comfortable. Great access to other nightlife events.
Was there last Saturday with a friend - we left after the second drink my Guinness stank of vinegar and my friend changed his beer for the second round and then refused to finish his pint - he also ordered food - a simple hot dog a basic bun a boiled hot dog sausage and a few raw onions - minimal effort and minimal presentation - we left our second drinks undrunk and went to a bar that served better food and had cleaned the lines and had better beer!
Amazing hospitality.
Great hospitality!
Met a friend here who spoke highly of the pub. Had a lovely evening! However been back a few times since and the bar manager nick is very rude and unpleasant, not only to customers but to staff aswell. Made for a bad atmosphere..
Lovely lovely service in the bar and amazing hospitality. Feels home.
Excellent, friendly and fun place. Karaoke was brilliant and staff fantastic.
Stayed one night in mid-May 2025, 3rd floor room. Entry is vague - enter through the pub. No reception desk. Expensive, but I chose this for the location. No elevator; steep, narrow stairs. Room and shared bath were both clean. Roof leak at east entry bay.
Lovely pub, reasonable prices.
