Handy for the station

Hey all, Me and my girlfriend stayed her for originally 1 night however due to us loving the hotel we stayed for a total of 2 nights. Firstly, we left our suitcases at the hotel a few hours before our stay with no charge ! And I accidentally lost my receipt to collect the luggage, I started to panic however I told the receptionist and the women at the desk called “Aliesha” was so nice and lovely and helped assist the situation and we found the suitcase and was going great ! After we checked in around 3pm and we went straight to the hotel room which was wow…amazing ! Spacious ! CLEAN ! And had amazing views of Manchester !! We stayed in the junior panoramic suite which was around 180 for 1 night but then 108 the 2nd night - which is a really fair and good price considering what comes with the room due to our hotel room being a suite we have access to a exclusive lounge which was open 24/7 and had access to food , drinks , cutlery’s , snacks , hot drinks , soda machine , water & sparkling water which we could go to anytime and was only available to a certain amount of people in the hotel and the atmosphere was really good and positive , we also have access to a breakfast buffet in the lounge which is smaller than the restaurant but was really good and still had a lot of food and drink options available and this was open from 6:30-10:30 for the breakfast and they served food from the times 6pm-8pm which was a really nice touch and saves us some money from going out and there was also a lot of variety ! So the lounge accsess gets a 10/10 from us and it was also very very quiet usally so you can go there and get your work done or anything else you need to do - and there was a worker there aswell who is able to assist you with anything you need ! Our Room was so good and clean ! Everything was up to standard - we were given robes , towels , toiletries , hairdryers , there was a bath , shower , fridge and coffee machine aswell and couldn’t ask for anymore - we also had a TV and at first I saw Netflix on the remote and got gassed but unfortunately there was no Netflix on the TV which was a bit disappointing but nothing to important to worry about just would of been a better touch as we don’t really like to watch TV. There was a little situation however…I was using the toilet and there was no plunger unfortunately which was a bit upsetting…this was a bit late in the evening and I called the receptionist and they informed that there was no maintenance team available and they don’t give out plunges and the toilet was blocked so was very unpleasant and comfortable staying in that room - they said the only thing they could help with is move us to a room (which was the same as ours) wich we were happy with but was annoying to move all of our stuff as we had already settled in the hotel making our selves comfortable and we will just have to move rooms and pack all of our things and move it to the room across . After some back and fourth with reception- they came to assess our room to see if we could be qualified for further assistance and gain a late check out and upgraded breakfast as we didn’t want to just move all of things across late and night and we were offered a free late check out , updated breakfast and a new room which was a really big bonus and positive Customer service and experience. The upgraded breakfast in the morning…unreal ! Was so good there was everything you can think of and felt like I was getting treated like a king and my girl getting treated like a queen . A lady saw we didn’t have cutlery for my cereal and gave it to me so quick I didn’t even realise I forgot to bring my cutlery. They had a lot more options than the breakfast we have accsess to and would defo recommend staying at this hotel cause honestly it was so good and I will definitely be coming back Thank you 🙂 Overall,

Wonderful hotel, spacious rooms, amazing staff (especially Marco at breakfast), excellent location. The only problem is that the rooms don't have windows that open.

irish bartender needs to work on people skills. abrupt and impolite, teach your staff to wash their hands whilst you’re at it.

First time staying here in the Marriot Manchester and I was greeted with a great welcome by Freddie. Upon returning from dinner Yvonne helped me with the club lounge and made sure everything was perfect for me. This is what is known as service excellence. Rooms are clean and spacious, location is great for the station and 10-15 mins walk from the center of town. Also thanks to duty manger Joshua. Top team 👍🏼

I recently stayed at this hotel for work, whilst the rooms are quite nice the bathrooms could do with a facelift. Having said that, some of the staff are a credit to the hotel especially Freddie in the front desk, goes the extra mile.

Clean and well maintained. Nice massage and spa area charged at £15 for 2 hours. Next to train station so background noise. Doors are heavy so clunk when closing. Signage to lifts to get to Reception needed better signage.

I liked this hotel

Last minute unexpected stay and was delighted with our choice. Excellent location for the train station, shopping and the O2, all easy walking distance from the hotel. Car parking onsite £20 per night which is reasonable to the city. Our room was lovely and comfortable with all mod cons and a nice deep bath. Breaky was good, lots of options and although busy, was well managed with plenty of seating for everyone. Customer service was exceptional on every level.
