Cleaning…..the sofa in my room was full of horrible stains

If you have any brain cells you would stay clear of this sess pit it's disgusting our room was covered in dust the kettle didn't even fit it's base the frame to the photo was ready to fall apart stained towels and the noise of other people staying well the must not give a toss about anyone just deliberate banging of the doors not even leaving there room just opening and closing the door , staff did not give a toss about it worst place ever I've stayed another room we paid for for my daughter and daughter in law had white marks on a cushion vile place how it's still open is beyond me

⭐️⭐️ Villé Hotel, Manchester Unfortunately, this stay didn’t live up to expectations. Our first concern was luggage storage — bags were left essentially out in the open, which didn’t feel secure at all. This is especially worrying for guests travelling with medical equipment or essential items, as there’s a real risk of loss or theft with no clear safeguarding in place. The room itself had a small double bed, which felt cramped. We were specifically told by reception that our room was the quietest available, however from around 3am we were woken by glass bottles being loudly emptied into bins directly outside our window. On top of that, we could clearly hear other guests in their rooms and doors slamming, so noise insulation is very poor. After checkout, my partner sadly realised he’d left his eye mask behind. We contacted the hotel and were told they’d check. Within 10 minutes, we received a call saying it definitely wasn’t in the room — meaning it was either already removed by housekeeping or, frankly, someone wasn’t being fully honest. Either way, it didn’t sit right. On the positive side, the location is great for Canal Street, which is really the main redeeming feature. My partner has stayed here previously and felt it was noticeably better before. Sadly, it now feels like a change in management or chain has caused cracks to show, and standards have slipped. We won’t be returning unless significant changes are made.

The hotel is fine for an overnight stay if you're going to watch football, which was my case. The double bed is adequate for two people. The location is excellent for getting from the airport. It's a 5-minute walk from the main square and the transport links that take you everywhere. The bathroom is very good. The price is very reasonable.

Location is good. Rooms aren't clean enough but bathroom was clean and new. You only get this much for that price. I had no idea that this hotel is located at the gay neighborhood! 😮

A very cheap and convenient hotel. Although located in the heart of the party district, my room was very quiet.

Actually an ok hotel, but the central location in the area with bars and nightclubs means there is quite a bit of noise from the street and it lasts most of the night. Better noise insulation is desirable. The staff was friendly, but I did not experience towels being changed or trash being emptied etc. during the three days I was there. Several people mention that it was not clean, but my room was ok. I was initially given a room facing the backyard, but changed it the same evening to one facing the street, where the noise is a greater burden.

Avoid at all costs. Even at just £10 per night, it’s not worth it. 1. The street noise is unbearable—you can literally hear everything, making sleep absolutely impossible. 2. The room is unbearably hot. Opening the window to cool down only makes sleeping even more impossible due to the noise. 3. The heater, window, and fan were extremely dirty. 4. The towels had a brownish tint and looked unhygienic. 5. The bed was covered in glitter, and the mattress was in poor condition. 6. The blue cushions were stained and disgusting. The only positive aspect is the staff—friendly and helpful girls who replaced towels and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall, this place is not worth staying at. It leaves a terrible aftertaste and is easily the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced.
