ME1 Sauna and Steam

I visited this sauna today for the first time and had a very enjoyable time. I was met by the manager John who showed me around the second floor and he explained what was on the other two floors, before leading me to the locker and changing room. I was then free to explore and participate on any of the facilities. I first went into the sauna after having a quick shower and observed that most of the others in there must have been regulars from there discussion. This made me feel good and helped me to relax knowing that i was in a safe environment. I then had another shower before using the jaccuzzi and the other occupants were very helpful in guiding me in as to where the ledges were for resting on so i did not slip. I next went into the steam room but did not stay long there as it was not for me as i preferred the sauna instead, so thats where i went back to. Refreshments are available while there so it was time for a drink. Everyone i spoke to was very helpful and friendly in staff or other users of the facilities. I also found that as a non smoker it was nice not to have any smokers or vapers there while using the facilities which is a bonus. Having said that i did notice a doorway leading to a room or space available for there use if you wanted a vape or smoke, which i thought was an excellant idea. I also used there dark room while there and enjoyed myself in the process. Everywhere looked very clean and tidy as humanly possible, and everyone using the facilities seemed very happy and pleasant to talk to, which is important in knowing that one is in a safe environment. I am already planning on another visit as i enjoyed myself a lot on this one.

I recently made my first ever visit to ME1 (in fact my first ever visit to an all male sauna) and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Easy to find and discretely located with parking quote nearby the location is pretty much perfect. Entry is £17 and there's even a warning that if you pay by card that the name of the sauna will show on your bank statement. The entry fee includes towel, locker and free tea & coffee etc. I explained that it was my first time there and one of the staff showed me round the middle floor (where the entrance is located) and explained what was on the other two floors. It sounds like a rabbit warren at first but is very easy to find your way around. The only thing that wasn’t explained to me was the coloured band system, which I have now read about. I was given a blue one, but what that meant I don’t know. The middle floor consists of the reception and lounge area which seemed to be well laid out and plenty of conversation was going on in there (the piano didn't stop playing as I walked in). There's a clean changing rooms with plenty of lockers, a couple of toilets and a clean, brightly lit shower area too. Once stripped and out of the changing rooms there is an area with private booths, some with glory holes. Down a flight of stairs there's a hot tub / jacuzzi which can accommodate about 8 people, a sauna, steam room, showers and a bit of a seating / cinema area with a large screen. There is also a smoking area. The sauna is a great temperature and feels very relaxing and initially when I entered there was just a couple of other guys in there. Every so on there would be a change over of the people in there, with a couple popping in a straight out, presumably because there was no action going on! I visited both the steam room and the hot tub (with cold showers in-between) and throughly enjoyed both. On the top floor there are two separate rooms; one with a seating area around the sides, a swing (unoccupied when I visited) and what looks like a small round, rotating bed. Across the landing is another seating area with a large bench area and behind some curtains what I believe was a 'dark room' although I never ventured in. All in all, the place is well laid out and was extremely clean and welcoming. The clientele all seemed very friendly. I visited on a Tuesday which is apparently TV/CD day so there were a number of TVs/CDs, fully dressed and made up in the lounge area and also in the rooms on the top floor, occasionally one would also pop into the sauna. The fact that it was themed day didn’t bother me at all and didn’t seem to bother anyone else either. There was a complete mix of ages and sizes, so just a normal cross section of society. As a bi curious guy I didn’t feel out of place at all and everyone I encountered or spoke with were very friendly and welcoming. Will I be going again? Absolutely, the next time I’m working in the area.

Really cool and fun, welcoming to trans girls like me on the trans Tuesdays which helps me relax knowing I'm welcome for my identity, The only thing I'm curious about due to forgetting to ask as I was having so much fun is I'm not sure what price Trans girls pay on the Bi-nights. However, The place itself is super fun, relaxing and welcoming, Even the guests were sweet and nice to others. No problems whatsoever. I will recommend looking at the site before head instead of going in blind due to the nature of this sauna.

I must say, this is by far the best sauna I've been too. After been to a few this one has its personal touches. Very friendly welcome with a nice atmosphere. Great facilities. Clean, And the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

I’ve been to ME1 Sauna a few times now and honestly, it’s become one of my go-to places when I need to unwind. Every visit has been consistently great — the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, which makes it really easy to switch off and relax. The place is always spotlessly clean, which for me is a big deal, and it’s clear they take pride in maintaining high standards. The staff are genuinely friendly and approachable without being over the top, which adds to the overall comfortable vibe. It’s one of those places where you can just settle in, take your time, and leave feeling properly refreshed. Whether you’re going for a bit of downtime or just to escape the day for a while, ME1 Sauna definitely delivers. I’ll absolutely be back again.

Adult films and “fun” is had downstairs in the sauna and steam rooms. Quite off putting when you’re just trying to relax, and especially disgusting when you accidentally touch a used condom in steam room. Steam is also really heavy and smells wet? Other spa saunas usually have steam that feels light, but dense, mixed with eucalyptus Customers seem to get very aggressive towards people that have a difference of opinion on their experience (this can also be viewed on other websites)

NOT an only male sauna, even though I have that blasted on front page of website. They allow women and trans as well; which is whatever, but if you're looking for a male only space - this is not it.
