What an amazing place to sit and enjoy a relaxing drink by the river. The food was amazing. Really enjoyed the Monkfish Scampi and the Calamari on the small plates menu. The staff were very friendly and well mannered. Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic countryside Inn. Enjoyed our 2 night's stay here. Attractive countryside Inn in a beautiful & tranquil location on the river. The staff were friendly & welcoming and provided a great service in the bar & dining area. The bar had a great selection of real ales and the food was excellent. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, ideal for our short stay. Would highly recommend and I would stay again when in the area.

What a gorgeous pub, restaurant and hotel in the cutest location! We only visited for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer. The hospitality by all staff was great, the food was delicious, plenty of seats inside and out which was lovely in the sun by the river. Very family and dog friendly, so dog friendly that a lovely lady who worked there got me her tic remover as my dog picked one up on his belly! Thanks so much! Highly recommend a visit. :) xx

We had lunch here for Father's day, what more could you ask for, beautiful sunshine, beautiful location, Sat at a table next to the river and absolutely fabulous food. Staff was really nice and friendly. Perfect. Would definitely recommend The Watermans Arms.

What a fantastic stay. 2 nights during the week. I had a beautiful room looking out over the water. Room 7. Lovely friendly staff. The fish pie was the best I have ever eaten. I really enjoyed this stay.. Breakfast fabulous. Easy, safe parking. Perfect. Thank you

This is how a pub should be, beautiful setting by the river... The staff were brilliant.. Food was amazing great menu... Our room was spacious and bed was very comfortable.. They except dogs which was great10/10

Took a detour to visit, once again. Such a great pub, I often tell people how this is my favourite pub in the country. Setting is a ten, food somehow makes it an eleven.

Myself and my son stopped by their family fun day today and it was beyond lovely. The family running this pub had gone to loads of efforts creating a wonderful environment for kids with loads of kids activities. Honestly a total lifesaver for a single mum! We’ll definitely be back

Lovely traditional pub in a beautiful riverside setting. Great atmosphere, plenty of character and a perfect place for a relaxed family stop in Devon. We will definitely return.
