Federación Argentina LGBT+ (FALGBT)

The Federación Argentina de Lesbianas, Gays, Bisexuales y Trans (FALGBT) is a national coalition of LGBTQ+ groups founded in 2005. It was the driving force behind two of Argentina's landmark reforms: the 2010 same-sex marriage law — the first in Latin America — and the 2012 Gender Identity Law, considered one of the world's most progressive because it allows legal gender change by self-declaration. The federation continues to coordinate advocacy, legal assistance and public-education work from its central Buenos Aires office.
