Incredible stay! Martha and Jacinto gave us the warmest welcome. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The meals are all absolutely delicious. Great location in the heart of Coporaque with plenty of activities nearby. I highly recommend it!
I had the pleasure of spending two days with Martha and Jacinto at Casa Yuraq Qaqa, and I will cherish the wonderful memories of this experience. The village is beautiful, but what made this stay so special was above all their hospitality. Despite my late arrival, they welcomed me with such kindness and generosity. They opened the doors to their daily life, taking the time to explain everything to me with incredible patience, despite my limited Spanish. My only regret is not staying longer… and not speaking better Spanish so I could have shared even more with them. A truly authentic and precious human experience that I wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you again to Martha and Jacinto for their kindness—I sincerely hope to have the chance to return someday.
Everything was perfect, the food was excellent, the room was spotless, and the owner was incredibly kind. We were the only tourists during our stay. I highly recommend it!
An absolutely amazing place! Many tourists visit the Colca Canyon region. I wanted a less touristy, more authentic experience. What I found at Casa Yuraq Qaqa exceeded my expectations. You'll meet a truly warm and caring family who will immediately include you in their activities if you'd like – cooking together, fishing, and taking care of the animals (cows, chickens, and guinea pigs). The location is perfect for hikes lasting several hours and enjoying the breathtaking views of nature. The meals are fantastic. Definitely the best food I had in Peru. It's no problem if you don't speak Spanish. Communication was seamless, either with the help of a translation app or through facial expressions, gestures, or simply a smile.
It was a wonderful experience, the hosts were very attentive. The place is beautiful; it's worth staying for more than two days. The food was delicious!
A beautiful and authentic experience with Martha's family. The rooms were very comfortable and there was hot water in the shower. Martha is an amazing cook! The food was healthy, natural, and varied, all from the farm.
The lady provides excellent service, highly recommended. Note, it's a homestay, so be aware of that.
